Also, also, in season 6 we get a flash back of Blaine where he says he's the only openly gay kid at Dalton so he was never hiding. The show didn't change, the show grew and a lot of people love the way the characters developed. The characters didn't change, new dimensions were simply added to them. As seen by the fact that they won the golden globe in season 1 AND season 2.

I loved how the warblers were so supportive and non judgemental about each others sexualities, I mean how kurt fit in in a way even when they were kinda like one another. They didn't seem to care and always had a pretty open heart for both of them which I really liked. I think thats why this scene hits me a lil harder cause he never felt safe at mckinley high but he could always be himself where when he was a warbler he was accepted but couldnt always be himself, seems like he was torn between blaine and his friends at the same time. seeing them all get together and perform a number for kurt was so heartwarming for me.
