‘Glee’ Star Chris Colfer Talks New Book 'A Tale of Witchcraft'

“Extra’s” Cheslie Kryst caught up with Chris Colfer, who dished on his new book “A Tale of Witchcraft,” a sequel to his “A Tale of Magic.”
Colfer also opened up on how “Glee” co-star Naya Rivera’s death has affected him, admitting, “I’m still kind of coming to terms with it. I think quarantine has made everything foggy for all of us. It’s one of those things I have to wake up every morning and remind myself that it happened.”

There was absolutely no reason for the interviewer to bring up Naya, and when you could clearly see how uncomfortable he felt talking about it, she certainly shouldn't have asked a follow up question.

The title should be "Chris Colfer talks about naya rivera's mourn" He supposed to talk about his book like title says. It was really inappropriate, the grieving is personal, because he was uncomfortable with that question but he had great attitude. The interviewer was an opportunist.

Yep. Chris says he's planning on at least a third book and then he's planning to focus on other projects.

he looks like a ghost is all of these interviews which is sad cuz I can barely see his beautiful face, but I honestly don't even care bc his voice is *that* soothing. Like, I've read all the Land of Stories books, but I listened to the audio book samples bc his voice is so magical. lol my teacher was like "What are you working on?" and I was like "I don't know" cuz I didn't know what to say cuz I was just listening to his voice with my eyes closed and she was probly *real* confused but honestly I don't care bc everyone I know already knows about my obsession it's really obvious lol wow that was a long comment ha

As much as I loved the "The Land of Stories" saga, I didn't like this prequel. I did not like it because it is yet another book that breeds hatred of everything. Already the beauty of the Land of Stories was that, a magical world where good and evil exist but in the end if you believe you get to the "Happy and contented", instead in this prequel we are presented with a world where humans are assholes up to indeed similar because yes and magical creatures or good or bitches but because of humans. With this I am not saying that he had to create a perfect land where everyone is friends, it is fair to show that there are disagreements. But at least he could do that one of the four kingdoms was in favor of magic or at least didn't persecute it that much, or even that they have no prejudices about who the stronger sex is, another of the themes was that. But no, we have three lands where they kill you on sight and one where they force you to hard labor. I'm sorry Colfer but this time your work didn't make me fantasize or reflect, you just reminded me that you, me and humanity suck and instead of being able to learn from our mistakes we just have to die.

I have a home library of about 700 books. And my husband bought me this book because I like all things fantasy. Not knowing the hidden “gay agenda propaganda”. But no biggy it’s pretty easy to edit ALL OUT! It’s a pretty cool book if you white-out all the gay stuff!😛🫠👌🏼🫠
