It’s the year 2020. Rachel just won her first Tony and is happily married to Jesse. Kurt and Blaine will soon be dads. Mercedes is on her world tour. Artie’s movie got into Sundance Film Festival. Schuester’s doing great as principal in McKinley High School for the Performing Arts while Sam’s the coach for the New Directions. Sue’s on her second term as VP of the United States. Then they all reunited with the rest of the Glee club and rededicate the school auditorium to Finn.

What Sue said - that "to see the world not as it is but as it should be... is just about the bravest thing that anyone could do" were probably the most perfect lines to close the series. It's one of the best lines I've ever heard from a TV show. It just summed up the essence of Glee so well, and why it's such an amazing show. Most fictional TV shows just entertain audiences with drama, but Glee taught people how to follow their dreams, and have the courage to step outside other people's expectations and be their true selves. It connects with people in such a personal and powerful way - it makes you realise that even if you feel like no one understands you, you're not actually alone. Glee was truly a great show and I will never love any other show the way that I love Glee.
@juliarosemichael96276 жыл бұрын
Glee help me follow my dreams I became a choir student in Liberty because if it wasn't for Finn Hudson who showed me that you can be anybody you want to be I wouldn't have became a sooner I wouldn't have got I wouldn't want over every boy in the school I would have never been able to follow my dreams and you know what if I ever get a dog or a cat or a car his name is going to be Finn Hudson in honor actually it's going to be Cory Monteith and honor but will call him Finn for short I am going to honor Cory by naming my car after him in honor of him because he was one of my favorite choir performers Glee Club performer I am proud to have Cory on my side to prove that I am smart Brave and one of the most famous children in high school now

Sue: Fantastic. Becky! Becky! It’s okay, honey, he’s clean. You know, a great big fat person once stood in this stage and told a group of a dozen or so nerds in hideous disco outfits that Glee, by its very definition is about ‘Opening Yourself Up To Joy.’ Now it’s no secret that for a long time I thought that was a load of hooey. As far as I could see the Glee club was nothing more than a place where a bunch of cowardly losers go to sing their troubles away and elude themselves that they live in a world that cares one iota about their hopes and dreams, totally divorced from the harsh reality that out in the real world, there’s not much more to hope for than disappointment, heartbreak and failure. And you know what? I was exactly right; that’s exactly what Glee Club is. But I was wrong about the COWARDLY part. What I finally realise, now that I’m well into my late-thirties; it takes a lot of bravery to look around you and see the world not as it is, but as it should be: A world where the Quarterback becomes best friends with the Gay kid and the girl with the big nose ends up on Broadway. Glee is about imagining a world like that and finding the courage to open up your heart and sing about it. That’s what Glee club is, and for the longest time I thought that was SILLY, and now, I think it’s just about the BRAVEST thing that ANYONE could do. I am honoured to be here to rededicate this theatre, The FINN HUDSON AUDITORIUM. William, it is with your hard work and his memory that you managed to accomplish something unimaginable. McKinley high school for the performing arts has become an overwhelming success; a model for public schools that showcase the arts now being replicated all across the country. CONGRATULATIONS Will Schuester, you and your little Glee club have accomplished something quite REMARKABLE. And now without any further adieu it is my pleasure to introduce ... the New Directions.
@knowledgegathererdraftsave19797 жыл бұрын
A perfect final speech delivered by the one and only Sue Sylvester to show the growth and development of a crazy, strong-willed, competitive, dream-crushing, cheerio coach, former high school principal and now Vice President of the United States and showing that over all the years (6 seasons) that the Glee club had taught her so much and opened her eyes up to the hopes and dreams of a young talented group who could make those hopes and dreams into a reality in a world that they lived in from a small choir room.
