GLEE - Full Performance of ''I Lived" from ''Dreams Come True"

I Lived by OneRepublic is featured in Dreams Come True, the thirteenth and final episode of Season Six. It's sung by the Cast of Glee with solos from Artie, Blaine, Kurt, Mercedes, Rachel, Roderick, Sam, and Will.
It's the final number of the series. In Fall 2020, Sue Sylvester, now the Vice President of the United States, comes back to McKinley with Becky Jackson and invites Will, Burt Hummel, Carole Hudson-Hummel, Emma Pillsbury, Principal Figgins, Sheldon Beiste, and Terri Del Monico, who later joins hesitantly, to a rededication of The Auditorium for Finn, renaming it as "Finn Hudson Auditorium". Then, Sue introduces the New Directions and sits in the front row with Becky, as the curtain opens and shows Tina, Artie, Sam, and Quinn on the stage as Will joins in. Later, Rachel, Mercedes, Kurt, and Blaine walk in to the stage and sings in. Roderick, Mason, Madison, Jane, Alistair, Spencer and Sugar join at the chorus along with Mike and Matt Rutherford who both reunited for the first time since Season One, sharing a dance routine. At the song bridge, Brittany, Santana, Puck, Kitty, Lauren Zizes, Dave Karofsky, and Jake enter the auditorium and sings in. Joe, Ryder, and Unique also show up from the back of the auditorium stage. Jesse is also seen cuddling with Rachel throughout the song. Later, the adults get up to the stage, joining them. Terri is seen hugging Will when Emma notices them in an uncomfortable face. Most of the former main and recurring members of New Directions (excluding Rory Flanagan, Marley Rose and Myron Muskovitz) join to sing and celebrate Glee. The song ends when Becky and Sue get to the stage and join everyone putting their heads down to take their final bow as the lights turn off and the scene cuts to the screen zooming out from the picture of them in the auditorium along with Finn and Lillian's plaques. The sounds of the cast cheering and laughing is heard and with that the screen fades to black, marking the end of Glee.

I wish they had utilized her voice more though, that's my only complaint. She's actually a great singer and they made her out to be a bad one. Which would've been fine at the beginning, but I wish they had given her some character development. Like maybe send her to voice lessons or have Rachel, Santana, or Mercedes teach her? It just would've been nice to see that growth. But we just saw her completely suck at singing one time and then she was background fodder for the rest of her time on the show. I just finished watching glee like 2 minutes ago. I can't even begin to explain how I feel, especially seeing everyone here. when Naya and heather walked in I just lost control and started crying. I miss Naya. I loved this show, it made me realize that I should accept myself and not care what others think. I'm at a loss for words at how much this show has changed me in the 3 months it took me to watch all six seasons. It had some weird story lines but it is truly one of the best shows of its generation. Hopefully people young like me or younger watch this show because it was revolutionary at its time with self acceptance and being unapologetically yourself.

The way they sang the song is like a shout that echoes from a big dark cave. That big dark cave is the emptiness that the ending of the show has left in the hearts of us, its fans. It’s like we’d want to shout into the big expanse of the universe: “Please bring Glee back,” but all the we’ll get is an empty echo. Glee is simply gone, and nothing can ever replace it. The best final performance to highlight the love this show was filled with. Glee to me means sooo much! Yes there is lots of things that were so wrong but it’s filled with love and joy and it radiates that. Like many fans it gave me hope, companionship when lonely, light when I was in the dark, joy music and laughter! Thank you Glee we love you

2024 This performance will never get old so iconic always made me cry couldnt ask for prefect number to end the show i get chills every time it so prefect ,and fitting all the characters have been through so much but they embraced all of it ,and made their dream come true it just best song they could have chosen : ( i still miss glee it was such a big part of life it make me laugh cry ,best of all make me feel like i belong it will always have a special place in my heart❤.

Glee is one of the best movies I've ever seen in my life. It's not just entertaining but also richly therapeutical. Hands down the movie to touch me the most and put me in tears over and over again. God bless the writer(s) of the story, the producer(s), the director(s) and all the beautiful actors in it and may all those that are no longer of this world find peace in the bossom of the Most High.....I lived it all!!!
