i love how every verse that they sang lined up with their own storylines. finn - “i’ve paid my dues” he went through a lot with rachel and quinn and his dad and his mom marrying burt puck.. well cant say anything there. santana - “and bad mistakes, i’ve made a few” she had her fair share of cruel moments to others rachel - “i’ve had my share of sand kicked in my face, but i’ve pulled through” she got a slushie to the face everyday, santana’s rude remarks quite often, had people dragging her down all the time, but she powered through and ended up on broadway and won a tony kurt - “you’ve brought me fame, fortune, everything that goes with it. i thank you all” he went through hell and back with bullying and his dad and his mom. but glee club and his friends helped him through and he ended up being popular and giving others enough courage to come out. quinn- “but it’s been no bed of roses, no pleasure cruise” this girl couldn’t catch a break for the love of gods green earth. her pregnancy, her parents kicking her out, having been raped by puck, had to live with lots of different people, kicked off cheerios, finn and puck cheated on her, and she had low self esteem. but she came out on the other side and went to yale. her dream school.

,queen tribute band played this at 2012 lynx 40 birthday party/ Christmas do for my late sister and her husband sq. They were so in love and happy that night, they really could rock a dance floor. I miss them so much. Listening to this rendition sung by a group of friends reminds me of that night. Friends and a band of brothers on a dance floor. Sleep well did your duty and your with him again. You were so in love and that night it showed. Noone would have guessed wed loose you both. Our armed forces are the champions .
