I like the idea, would actually love to see it happen. But I feel like him singing it here in a performance with his students is a much more symbolic proposal. These students are his love and soul, basically his surrogate children at this point and when you propose to someone wouldn't you love to have your loving children there too? Emma and Will have spent years loving and helping those students, they're the highlights of their professional career, them sharing one of the most important moments in their life with them wouldn't hurt.
