That was the reason they did not last. Murphy played favorites. He did not like that Quinn was suppose to be the hated villain but she was more popular than Rachel. He had a set idea that Cory and Lea was to be the it stars. Only problem was everyone else was better actors and actresses and better at singing duets and group numbers. Lea is a one trick pony she does great solos. But she can not tone it down to really work with others in group songs or not try to over power her duet partner. That makes her a less talented performer.

Rachel was a egotistical brat who thinks she is owed everything and no one but her should ever get the spotlight. Now look at lea in the interviews she did as a child star on Broadway. Look at what her costars from then and every project sense then have said about her recently. She was a egotistical brat extra. In other words not acting. Her character only told the truth or did the right thing when she was caught or it benefited her in some way. Now look at that pathetic attempt at an apology same thing. Now I don't see how you can claim she can act. Heck look at her career sense glee. Sense Murphy can not prop her up on glee with some of the most talented people out there what has she done? She was in a one night only play, a strait to DVD animated movie a made for TV movie and three one season and done shows. One of those shows had what 13 episodes? If she was such a talent glee would not have tanked after Dianna and most of the others stopped being series regulars after season three! But she failed at that and has not had a successful show sense. Dianna has chosen to do mostly indie films and is successful. She was on stage in London for a play for half a year run! She has sat in the derictors chair. These are facts. Heck Lea has done how many albums two maybe three at most? Her ego has hurt her career on TV. Her behavior as a diva has turned off most who worked with her and they have spread the word in Hollywood. So unless she learns how to be a better person and how to make real apology her career maybe over. Now I may seem like I hate her but I don't. I think she could be a real talent if she gets over herself. Also remember Murphy wrote Rachel with Lea as his inspiration. He wanted her for that role. He wanted her to be the big star. He hated Dianna cause she gave Quinn humanity and fans loved her for it. Now as the guy in charge he got a say in storylines, who got to sing what and which takes were used in final cut of show. Given what he himself has said about treating some of the cast badly and his stated dislike for Quinn cause Dianna made people love her. It is not hard to believe that Murphy did everything he could to make people dislike quinn. Case in point the repetitive storyline in season two. The fact he had Quinn go off the deep end season three. I believe any short comings with the show from any actor or actress in the show not named Lea belong squarely at the feet of the guy who played favorites!

Now here's another fact. Dianna was told to sing in the upper part of her range all the time. Yet she still sounded great most of the time. That takes real talent and skill. Let's see u do it and do it the whole song and sing with power. You can sing good with power or you can sing in the upper part of your range and sound good. You can not do all three. Lea was allowed to sing her normal range. To my knowledge Dianna did not have singing lessons as a kid. But season Lea was on Broadway maybe I bet she did. Lea can sing but she sucks at toning it down and being part of the group. Now ask trained singers who is the better singer someone who can hit the high notes and do the power stuff or someone who does the harmonies. The answer is the harmonies are the most difficult. Lea can't do those as well as Dianna so Dianna is the better singer. You see part of harmonizing is not overpowering the people u sing with. Lea always tries to show off and thus fails.
