I was at this Phoenix concert where Keith invited Glen to play with him. By this time, we were all aware that Glen's health was presenting greater challenges for him. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would see my top 2 favorite guitarists, separated by a generation, on the same stage! I'm a Phoenix native and Glen was a part of our home town for more than 20 years (until this tragic disease forced his wife to move them to Cali). He was absolutely the nicest man who always had a kind word for a stranger while he was about town. I know we all mourn the loss of this amazing human.

LOVE THIS VIDEO1 How kind of Keith to do this, and how lucky are we to be able to see it. Yesterday was the 2nd anniversary of my husband's dying, so am feeling more than a little nostalgic, since my husband always reminded me of Glen. What a loss for us...

I have seen this video a hundred times, and every time it comes across my feed, I watch it again. Just to see Glen fighting Alzheimers the whole way through, and watching Keith with him makes my heartless, jaded ass melt. There is a point where you can see Glen get a bit lost, and Keith very calmly turns towards him so Glen can see the fretboard and get back in place. 99% of non-musicians would miss it. Keith's attitude throughout this is not only joy at playing with a hero, but one of live and protection...... Thumbs up to both

@@professionalprocrastinator8182 You'll notice no one said anything about Glen making a mistake. Glen, very simply, got lost. Having taken care of Alzheimer's patients for a number of years, it is not an uncommon occurrence. If you watch the documentary, during his last tour, especially towards the end, he gets lost several times, and his daughter is playing behind him to help out.

From the internet: Glen Campbell was one of Keith Urban's musical idols, so the superstar was thrilled when he got the chance to actually jam with the legendary guitarist and singer in 2009. The two men made acoustic magic at Urban's Las Vegas gig during his Escape Together World Tour in June of 2009, when Urban called Campbell to the stage to join him for Campbell's classic hit, "Wichita Lineman." Campbell recalled meeting Urban when he was still an up-and-coming musician during a trip to Australia and giving him the advice to always keep practicing - advice Urban admitted he was still following to that day, years into a successful career. "He's the best in the world," Campbell lauded Urban.

Hi Jeff... I saw Glen probably 15 times in the five years leading up to his final retirement (including three of his last 10 shows). I always enjoyed watching the two of you play together, particularly when you took the solo on this song with the four-string. Some of my finest memories... Glen Campbell is an icon, and, like Brian Wilson, never received the recognition he deserved during his lifetime. Like another person commented, there were many in the music industry who tried to paint him as simple or insignificant. To those I simply say - "Let's see if anyone is listening to YOUR music 50 years from now." Thank you Keith for giving Glen this well deserved extra moment in the spotlight. You can see by the sparkle in his eyes and that wonderful smile that he loved it.... and I won't even begin to touch on his amazing guitar work. I mean the man's a musical genious! Enough words now, I just wanted to listen to Glen sign again.
