We bumped into Glen Hansard while we were strolling in Noto, Sicily. Our son loved the live performance and thanks him a lot.

I love how Glen can play in front of tens of thousands of people or a woman and her baby and give it the exact same amount of soul. A national treasure.

He is doing this video for an upcoming movie 'BloodShot' he is just live acting this song for a shot. The movie is based on Sicily(u can see slight a camera man shot at 3.34 minute in this video). The movie is an Action based movie. Hope you got my point & plz do subscribe my channel 🙏😍

My brother bumped into him in Belfast. Busking on the street. That's what makes Glen so cool : he fills giant concert halls, won an Oscar, but he just keeps playing for the smallest audiences as well. What a most charming man. Saw him live and I still get goosebumps hearing some (if not all) of his music !

honestly probably the best concert i ever went to was Glenn playing in Brisbane a couple of years back... I would book tickets to his show in a flash if he came back! I'd probably make sure i went more than once too. Amazingly talented!

I already had the opportunity to talk to him twice... it was just like talking to a friend... If you really knew him you would also know that at the time of Swell Season (ONCE), when the concert was sold out, he went, after his concert, to sing some songs for the people who stayed outside... so... ;)

She is one of the sweetest and most tender moms I have ever seen. He knows how to recognize the truth, and to honor the rare beauty that this life hides. The little one is very lucky, that before he develops full self-awareness he has such pre-reservations of the world. Μaybe this is how God sees us, just like babies..if he exists he is definitely not a gendarme, a judge or anything related ..

Glen is one of the last live concerts I heard before ‘the world closed’ - I’ll always remember someone at that show saying “he sings like his life depends on it” - 10000% energy, sincerity, and love for connecting with people. I hope I can at some point in my life emulate some part of Glen’s care for others. Thank you Mr Hansard

This literally made my day - to see this soulful performance from an artist who truly changed my life with his songs singing one of my absolute favourites in front of a mother and her fascinated child somewhere in Sicily and just giving me so much joy while listening. That Glen still busks shows that his man LOVES music and wants to share it with everyone. He is a true artist, and the movie (and CD) "Once" is a thing of splendid beauty. Kudos to this Mom for exposing her baby to art, and also Dad, who did an excellent job of recording this sweet scene.

Glen Hansard is a legend. His music is touching and heartfelt. I was so lucky to experience him at a koncert in Copenhagen, Denmark a few years ago: a true wonderful evening. I wish he knew how much he is able to touch our hearts all across the World. A true artist. Genuine and authentic. ❤ - and "ONCE" is one of my favorit movies....ever!! Lots of love from Camilla in Denmark 🎶

I was on stage with him, about 1,5 meters away from him performing as he invited us to and upon the stage because he couldn’t see us at all and wanted to connect. I literally FELT him sing as it resonated in my chest from such a close distance. Needless to say those two hours were probably the most wonderful and intimate I have ever experienced during a concert. It was absolutely magnificent.

I got to meet Glen about 2 or 3 years ago here in Dublin. I was shopping for a computer with my brother in PC World when I look over to the other isle and saw Glen Hansard with I presume his young boys. Wasn't too sure if I should approach his because of his kids but he was an absolute gentlemen. Talked to him about the great charity work he does for the homeless in Ireland. Not everyday you meet an academy award winning singer in PC World!

In 2004, I stood next to Mick Jagger inside the Sistine Chapel. He was with what appeared to be his wife and 2 small kids (or grandkids). I didn't have the heart to approach him. The solemnity of the building and because he was "off of work," I chickened out. I regret not speaking to him, but I am sure I made the right decision. Stars like him have to have it rough being just normal gents.

Andrea Sturm first time I heard you was many years ago in Dornbirn at a live concert im Spielboden. That was after Sting played in Alberschwende. I remember entering the hall, you set the place on fire, beaming lively presence, full power, enjoying life, giving all, I love you !
