I remember going to see "Once" with an old boyfriend in NYC in 2007--he'd read about it somewhere and thought it sounded like a movie i'd like. I bought all 3 copies from my local Blockbuster that Christmas, giving them to my best friends so we'd all know the words to sing together. :) I went on to see Hansard & Irglova 4 times (New Orleans and New York) but never dreamed a reunion might happen, but this made my soul soar... hearing people singing along who know and remember is especially magical. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world

The very best part is when the crowd joins in. There's something that happens with live music that never happens in the studio. Rawness, energy, power. It's all much more organic. Plus it's great to feed off an audience and have them feed off you.
