This is my dads song to us kids, always has been, and growing up sometimes is different answers to us were simply, "that's my job". Six months ago we moved into a house we built right next door to him with some land he gifted us a few years back. He turned 73 two days ago and it's been my greatest joy and a dream come true to move back home. Now I'm here for him, returning all the many favors accumulated over the years.

Watching this, the thing that stands out the absolute most beyond the song, the vocals, or the track.. are the tears sitting at the console -- I had the exact same reaction, same face, same tears when I recorded my first song in Nashville at Hill Top Studios about 6 years ago -- it was all just overwhelming. We had to wait on our studio time because Brent Mason was tracking for a Paisley album.... I'm a bit older and didn't get to grab the dragon by the tail when he flew by -- I'm hoping and praying better for you -- you've got the chops, the skill, the talent. It just misses some of us along the way - but I've loved the ride! - It just wasn't mine to live -- BUT I FEEL IT ALL OVER AGAIN seeing your face with tears takes me back to that day -- When it sounded like it was supposed to, when the mix was just right. Be Blessed Brother! If there's ever anything a local giggin musician in Atlanta can do for you, let me know! -- I'm sharing with all my friends, don't let go - you've got a chance to "RIDE THE DRAGON" - GOD'S SPEED!!
