I love the Philippines. I was there last year and stayed a couple of nights in Boracay. Love their beautiful sunsets. I watch it every night. Just a paradise out of this world. I prefer close to the nightlife and restaurant. I’m not so much of a quiet place so I stayed close to the clubs and bars. I want to go back there again! Love love love boracay beach!!!

I love boracay too. I miss this paradise. We stayed in station 2 which surrounded by shops bars and restos i love the vibes. I am not into a quiet place of beach so boring lol.

I love your video showcasing Boracay natural beauty. I'm from Iloilo and I live in the US. Every 5 years I get to go home, I always take my whole family and rent a whole boat one time and rented 3 cottages to accommodate everyone. Way back then , I can feed 20 people for 50$ meals in Boracay and paid 50$ for 2 cottages. So cheap . Now it's different 13 years later. But still everything of the experience with family bonding is priceless. I'm so glad you're bother enjoying your stay. Enjoy the moments and the breathtaking beach and lovely people. You can relax in a Hammock and sip some margaritas. No stress. Just the moon and the stars.

This is the video I've been waiting for. Actual real time walking down Boracay restaurants and bars and alleyways and of course, the unmissable sunset! I'm like Madou the way I look at that sunset. Madou, you have try Ube halaya and everything ube (what you call purple) as PH is known as the original source of ube and supplies it to the world. It's not as common in other parts of the world -- so make the most of ube.

TIP: Locals don’t like getting dark under the sun- so the beach practically empty when the sun is glaring. Stay in the water to keep cool. 😊

The purple food you've been seeing is called Ube (pronounced "Ooh-Beh"), or Purple Yam in English. Although there are Purple Yams in some other countries too, it is said to have originated in the Philippines. It is widely used here for all kinds of snacks and desserts. 💜

There are a variety of lumpia. There is lumpiang togue, (pronounced as to-ge) lumpiang Shanghai, lumpiang ubod, lumpiang gulay etc. I consider lumpiang sariwa as the best. You both should try it.

Purple yam, locally known as Ube, is endemic to the Philippines. You find them in a lot of desserts, like Halo Halo, and that pastry that Mado ate.

You should try those exotic Filipino street foods: Balut, Isaw, Kwek Kwek, Siomai, Siopao, Chicharon, Fish balls, and Betamax to experience the extreme flavors of Filipino street food. Ube is the best local desert in the Philippines. The Philippines' Beaches are unique, no comparison to any of the parts of the world. Truly and proudly the Philippines.

If it's purple it's more than likely made with Ube (a sweet potato). Are you going to El Nido? They have some phenomenal beaches there (Nacpan, Duli, Vanilla/Marimegmeg/Las Cabanas).

Purple is the natural colour of the yam used in their desserts and pastry. When you say "Ingat" you pronounce the "ing" as in fishing...."Ing-at", not "Ing-gat"

May 2018 Boracay local officials ordered the closure of West Cove beach resort. The move coincided with a demolition notice from the Dept. of Environment and Natural Resources on West Cove’s illegal constructions. Municipal officials of Malay, Aklan, which covers Boracay, ordered the shutdown of West Cove for lack of business permit. The DENR demolition edict was due to West Cove’s erection of permanent structures in a forestland it was allowed temporarily to use for tourism.

I don't know if you are still here or this is a late upload. Boracay is still the best beach for us Filipinos, I know it is crowded, well much crowded in summer/dry season from April to June. You'll see people like you and korean tourists.
