Thank you so much for this! I first heard of Stevie Smith in the 1970s, when I listened to Glenda Jackson and Mona Washbourne doing the radio adaptation of the film. The poems, as spoken by Miss Jackson, were funny, solemn, naughty, whimsical, mocking and haunting. I became an overnight fan of Miss Smith's work. Not Waving but Drowning was an instant favorite, as were Tender Only to One and Do Take Muriel Out. The final Come Death poems, written as she lay dying, haunt me still. One of my favorite poets.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the recording as much as I did. I've had the LP for years and wanted to share it with others, once I was able to transfer it.

As well as her poems which live on brightly, read her witty fiction, *Novel on Yellow Paper*, *Over the Frontier* and *The Holiday*.
