I wasn't ready for this change. I still miss Robinson's, Mervins, and Nordstrom at the mall. I also miss the brick atmosphere and the complementary brown carpet with the purple squares. Some stores I remember were a Sketcher's shoe store, FAO Schwarz, KB Toys, Brookstone, Baker's, Sbarro, Hot Dog on a Stick, an antique store by JC Penney and the elevator (that's gone too), a baby store probably where Victoria's secret is now, Bose,and a restaurant next to McDonalds that had blue walls. Probably started with a D.

LNERFlyingScotsman You also forgot the wonderful man who had a small (tiny) store where he painted artwork from photographs (who does that anymore?) He was there from the first time the mall opened! I also miss The Warner Bros. Store! Thanks so much for stopping by and remembering w/us!

MsRandomnotes1 I get really nostalgic especially about old places I've gone too that look so different now like the Galleria and the Eagle Rock Plaza. I've only been going to the mall since about 1999 when I was only 1 year old, but I remember only a couple of the great stores. It seems as though the mall got rid of a lot of good stores that were single owned to make way for big brand name stores. Also, Build a Bear Workshop was one of my favorite stores, and I kept seeing the Galleria location on commercials.

#Daphnes Greek restaurant is gone ?! I used to love daphnes Greek when I worked at Macy's here in 05-07'

Dude I still remember the games workshop next to meyrvns as well as the sanrio hello kitty store, seeing those empty made my heart drop when I saw it in person. I wasn't able to remember stuff till 2005 so idr Robinson's but my mom got apprehended by security for accidentally leaving tiny kids clothes on the 2 child baby stroller that had a screen to protect us from sunburn so when she left it in top as she was in stress due to me and my sis crying and folded the screen without realizing she had unpaid clothes there. She was sent to the Glendale police department to be locked up for a week or 1-2 nights idr, so I say fuck Robinson's I'm glad target opened

well, it was built in the '70's, but it was always up to date, that back part is actually the newest part of the mall...now it's being made over again! progress I guess?

Even though i do miss the old Dimness of the Galleria it set it apart from Other Malls now that its bright it looks too much like the West Covina Westfield mall :(
