@@jerometaperman7102 yes, she's superb but claims he can pick faster than her. It's hard to tell I find. By coincidence, I enjoyed Sully's pickin with AJ Lee earlier today at Edmonton folk fest! Wow!!

@@alan4sure - Nice. I’ve seen them twice: Once at a bluegrass festival near Seattle and once at a tiny venue in a small town in Wisconsin. I’ve never seen Molly I person but I am watching for her to come near.

Your sweet harmonies have really kicked up a notch in tone and power! 💓 And I sure like Scott cutting loose on those strings. Jan and Sully, well, they're just as awesome as ever!

My brothers and I had a bluegrass band years ago and this is one of the songs we sang. Love AJ Lee.
@tomf429 Жыл бұрын
I’ve been playin’ and singin’ this song since the early ‘70’s. I used to play it for my kids (who are now in their 40’s) when they were little. A few weeks ago, my bluegrass band was doing a sound check and said, “play something so we can get the volume right”. Without thinking, I hit a G chord and went right into “Somebody robbed that Glendale Train…” Then the banjo player kicked in, the fiddle kicked in, the mandolin kicked in, the dobro kicked in, and I sang the whole song without missing a word. My first time in a couple of decades. So, we put it in our set list.

I think you found your bass player. Don't let her get away, she fits right in and she makes a great addition to the band. You all sound great together and she looks like she belongs to the group. She sounds great and her bass is awsome. You all are ready for the big time now!
