Great review and daaaaaang, that’s a lot of water! Glad the house is ok. Love Glenfiddich, the 14 ex bourbon is the current favorite but very much interested in the 15. Have a NAS bottle from the 80’s gifted to me by a friend, it is such a cool bottle and tastes like the 12, a great dram! Cheers!🥃

This was my first single malt I bought. I am a sucker for marketing and it had me at the triangular bottle. Price back then was good as well at 53.00 it was only 10.00 more than the 12 I thought it was a bargain. Liked it, to me a pleasant dram with Sherry notes all over and no awkward notes that put me off on my first SM experience. Cheers! My father in law lost his covered boat dock on Black Lake when the snow collapsed it earlier this year. Crazy weather y’all had earlier this year.

Thanks again, Lee Ann. I'm a new-bee and enjoy Glenfiddich as a beginner. I've had a couple of drams of this one with a buddy. Very nice, but as you say, a short finish. The 12 is solid. I have the 14 (bourbon cask matured). Very sweet and easy to drink. I think it's at 43%. I think I like it the best of all of them. Hope that water level goes down soon. Looks a bit damp. Regards to Mark. :)

Thanks Chris! I see a theme in the comments about the 14! Yeah, we have to deal with the water most every Spring in some form. Of the 5 years we've had the camp, we've dealt with longterm (2 + months) of standing water. Occasionally it will only be in the back yard (where the broken mower is parked LOL) but this year we are flooded from front to back. It's a mess but we still love it! Plus, this may extend crawfish season!
