Exactly what does that poker chip do on top of the nosing glass?

thats our challenge coin, and it helps capture the nose of the whisky by concentrating the aromas!

Scotch Test Dummies oh ok ok I didn’t know that. New to the whiskey game and just trying to soak up as much knowledge as possible. Thanks

How would this compare to Glenfiddich 14 , if you have had it.

we need to test the Fiddich 14.

Eyes widened nicely when I saw the 15yo age statement, but yes, a little disappointed at only 43%... but keen to try this one. Having read about all the barley strain editions Glenmorangie were putting out made me very curious to explore more of their range. Sounds tasty! :)

I have the 10 right now, of course it's a common classic. Someone reviewed Dream Of Scotland cask strength and said they thought there was more peat than an Octomore. Not sure if that might be an exploration for you guys?

Great review, gents! I like Glenmorangie quite a bit so I might pick this one up. Their old Tusail private edition utilized a different barley too and I loved that one. Cheers Scott and Bart!

I still have a couple old 15's that was core range before they changed the bottle shape, good stuff but the 18 really refines that Glenmo style.

The Cadboll Estate was originally released as a travel retail exclusive a couple of years back. It seems to be readily available now but at £90 here in the U.K. I wouldn't walk past the Quinta Ruban at £50 to buy it.

Haven’t seen this yet in Canada, but I would like to get it. I thought it originally started out as a travel retail exclusive? I’ve tried to grab most the Glenmorangie releases, but was never able to find the Dornoch, Cadboll or the new Quinta Rueben 14. Question, what is with the “I want to be KZbin friends” that I see in the comments here and other review channels?? I’m missing something.

@@ScotchTestDummies LE is important, including the close contact. However, carrying a weapon is part of the job, yet you choose to present on KZbin unarmed. You left your day job at the door with regards to duty gear, rightly. The same should be true of your LE culture bias, particularly during public health crises. This post is quite old and, perhaps less relevant. I appreciate the reply, later better than never. Best regards
