@@kristinbingamon568 Girls, I am looking on this here from Germany - the birthplace of all liberal and destructive theology..., so I have heard all this, but why don't we consider "multiple fulfillments" in Jesus' time (the end of the age for the Jews and the old covernent) and in our day (the end of the age for mankind)!?!?!?!?
@kristinbingamon568Ай бұрын
@LeinauerAnton That’s an interesting question. I would call that the “ double fulfillment “ view or maybe multiple fulfillment view. My perspective is this… would you expect there to be any greater fulfillment of Passover than Jesus gift of his life as our Passover lamb on the cross! That was the ultimate fulfillment of the Passover type of the Old Testament. I Just don’t see any way possible we could have a greater fulfillment of Passover than Christ crucified. And it is the same way with all seven of the feasts. remember that in Luke’s Gospel he said that “these are the days of wrath to fulfill all that has been written.” He goes on to say it would be in “ this generation.” Or look at it this way, once your cup is full can you really fill it fuller? or another way to think of it is, could you have a better covenant than the new covenant? Those are just my thoughts off of the top of my head and how I currently see things. We don’t all have to agree that’s just my stance. Thank you so much for commenting all the way from Germany! I can’t even believe that! I’ve been there once it’s so beautiful.❤️🙏

Hey there. KZbin happened to send me your way. Congrats on the channel. I wish you much success. Having served as a Lutheran pastor for 35 years, sure, I have my thoughts on the subject. But instead I want to commend you for taking on this challenging predicament we face in the scriptures. You are not the first; you won't be the last. But consider this. Isn't it fascinating (and wonderful) that Christian scripture does not hide differences? None of the Gospel stories completely agree with one another - especially John's gospel when compared to the others. Time lines, even names of disciples, are different. And yet, we don't hide from the discrepancies. Instead, the Church embraced them. The early Church could have decided to have ONE telling of Jesus' life, but instead chose four tellings of his story. The early Church decided to include not only Paul's letters but also other writings that at times run contrary to Paul's views. Even in the Hebrew scriptures, there are contradictions or just a different view of the same incident (Genesis 1 and Genesis 2). This ability to keep the differences in the telling is a strength in the Christian faith not a failing. Now, you'll ask, but how can they all be then the Word of God? Easy. Remember that God worked through human beings who will add their perspective to the writings - that just cannot be helped. But like viewing the same diamond, or looking at the same rainbow, or looking out to sea at the horizon, or telling what happened at an event, the same incident occurred and is written about but from a different angle. (Did that make any sense? Consider it.) But again, good for you that you've decided to tackle the questions rather than throw the baby out with the water or simply regurgitate what you've been told. I look forward to hearing more. Take care. God bless.
@kristinbingamon568Ай бұрын
@@dlschweppe Thank you for your kind words! I agree that the gospels aren’t all the same and each might take a different angle, but I would definitely not agree that there are any discrepancies. I believe they can all be harmonized and each adds detail and sheds more light on another. I would say the same for the rest of the Bible as well. If we can’t trust that scripture is God breathed then what is the point of even trying to figure anything out? It seems like we could say,” well it was written by men so this part or that part is wrong” depending on which parts each person likes are dislikes. I believe that God inspired or breathed his words into the writers so that there can be no mistakes without saying God made a mistake. Although through transmission over the years there can be changes and errors introduced, but because of our wealth of ancient manuscript copies we can get back to the original with confidence. Thank you for your thoughts and for your life of service!🙏❤️

You will see a physical battle at the velly of Johasaphath.
@kristinbingamon568Ай бұрын
@@Daniel_Mahlangu Great questions! As far as Malachi and the purification of the Levites, “As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 2:4-5 ESV bible.com/bible/59/1pe.2.4-5.ESV “And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.”” Revelation 5:9-10 ESV bible.com/bible/59/rev.5.9-10.ESV So I would say that these things were taking place in the first century under the new covenant, the Jerusalem, from above, the heavenly city. The new purified priests are people who have faith in Christ and are washed pure by his blood. I would say that the reference to the valley of Jehoshaphat is a reference to when Judah was defeated by her enemies because Jehoshaphat did not listen to the prophet of God and was defeated in battle. This is exactly what happened to the Jews in the first century. They rejected Jesus and his prophets and they decided to go into battle with Rome and they were destroyed. I hope that was helpful. Maybe others can chime in to those are just my quick thoughts on it. ❤️🙏
@kristinbingamon568Ай бұрын
@@Daniel_Mahlangu Also read Isaiah 66:3. It talks about a time when their sacrifices will be an abomination. Verse two tells you who will gain acceptance from the Lord and it is those who worship in spirit. Isaiah 65 and 66 is all about the new heavens in earth, but it is not about a physical reality, in fact, it is contrasting the physical with the spiritual and demonstrating that the spiritual is greater. Remember that physically, Jesus himself could not have been a priest because he did not descend from the right tribe. Under the new covenant, he is our high priest, and we can serve as priests in his temple because he has purified us with a better sacrifice once and for all .

Hey Sis in Christ 👋 Mark here again. I just finished this and yea ..... I'm not sure I agree with some of the things mentioned. Only because the bible describes the holy city the New Heavens and New Earth AND what it will be like and this present earth does not match those things at all. But I do like that you are open minded to seeing another side, however don't think you were wrong about everything you first knew and believed as a Christian. That's what the devil would want, we were all taught things as new Christian's and while all of it may not have been correct much of it was. But once the devil gets a believer to question on thing it's easy to question everything. And we can then easily start throwing out the truth with the errors. You do deserve a lot of credit though for bringing all these things and other views to light, and the way you communicate is very good and you have a kind & gentle spirit 👍 Also another thing before my battery goes and have to recharge my ph is in the New heaven and new earth there will be no more sicknesses or dying. Some people might say that is symbolic lol or refering to spiritual death, but I think the bible is speaking literally here. So if there is no more death yet the bible also says "it is appointed man once to die" then where will we go when we die if we are already in the new heaven & NEW earth ??? 😕 Ya know what I mean❓ And if we are already in it and there's no more death then that means we will never die which is obviously false. Plus we will have new spiritual glorified bodies in the new heaven and new earth which none of us currently have. With that I will close for now have to charge my ph but I look forward to chatting again, and will pray for God's wisdom & understanding to increase upon you! 😇 Amen and amen

I'm not sure I agree with some of the things mentioned. Only because the bible describes the holy city the New Heavens and New Earth AND what it will be like and this present earth does not match those things at all. end quote That was an issue I was dealing with, then by looking at the actual scriptures I came to understand that 'heaven' represented the covenant and 'earth' represented the people who were under that covenant. The old earth was the Jewish nation and the old heaven was the old covenant. If this is understood then it cannot be denied that the old heaven/covenant is gone and the new heaven/new covenant is established. And the old earth/old covenant Israel was destroyed and a new earth/Christian believers have been sanctioned as God's people. God said to OC Israel Isaiah 65:15 You(Israel) shall leave your name as a curse to My chosen; For the Lord God will slay you, And call His servants by another name(Christians)
@MKCreativeStudiosАй бұрын
@@ophiuchus9071 While I can appreciate your ideas about this I think that is reading too much into Revelation 21:1 and incerting things into that particular scripture that aren't there. No where in this passage does it say it's referring to what you mentioned, and while the Old Covenant is done away with that was already established at the cross ✝️ Revelation 21:1-4 is referring to what glory and promises await us when we leave this sick and dying world we are currently in. I don't believe it is correct to say Jesus meant what He said is literal about coming back "soon", but then the same can't be true for the New Heaven and NEW earth, I believe if God said something and had it written down in such vivid and descriptive detail then it is equally literal and TRUE. God bless you
@ophiuchus9071Ай бұрын
@@MKCreativeStudios The thing about Revelation 21 is that it doesn't exist in a vacuum. It is part of the ongoing theme of Revelation as a whole, namely the judgment that would come on the day of the Lord and what that judgment would manifest on the earth both in the physical world and in the spiritual and eternal realm. John was in the Spirit and he was seeing spiritual things(Revelation 1:10) John was told that the whole prophecy was to be inclusive with the whole and that nothing should be taken out of it or added to it. Revelation 21:1-4 is about the fulness of the new covenant being established on the earth after that judgment was completed. What was that judgment about? It was God bringing vengeance on Christ's enemies for their bloodguilt of killing His servants and making them to be martyrs. Yes the new covenant was established by the blood of Christ on the cross, that is correct! But the new covenant was not fully established in its completeness and fulness at the cross. New Jerusalem coming down from heaven is John seeing the fulness and the completeness of the new covenant established. The new heaven represents the new covenant in Christ as the authority of God, and the new earth is the new heavenly Jerusalem which is the church of Christ and bride of Christ. The new Jerusalem comes out of heaven which implies that its origin is God Himself and that by 'coming down from God' it is God sanctioning His new covenant and church as His authority on the earth. The adorning of the bride is the new covenant. Like the parable teaches about that man who was at the wedding but did not have the wedding clothes required for that event, so that man was expelled from partaking in the wedding feast. The bride being fully adorned symbolizes the church being fully completed in perfection. The churches perfection was part of God's new covenant promise as well. How was the church made perfect? The church was being made perfect the same way that Christ was made perfect. Hebrews 2:10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Now of course Christ was perfect in holiness, it wasn't the holiness of Christ that needed to be perfected. Just as it wasn't the holiness of the church that needed to be perfected. Hear what Paul says here... Colossians 1:24 I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, The suffering of the churches martyrs was filling up what was lacking in Christ's afflictions. What was lacking? It was Israel's measure of sin that was lacking. Israel would fill up the measure of her sin by persecuting the church Paul explains this in 1 Thes 2 as well 14 For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God’s churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own people the same things those churches suffered from the Jews 15 who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to everyone 16 in their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last. The main enemy of Christ was the OC Jewish world, they were persecuting His church and the measure of their sin was about to be completely filled and they would have God's wrath and judgment come down on them and destroy there entire OC system and world. So when John says in Revelation 21:4 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” John is speaking about the martyrs deaths coming to an end. The new covenant martyrs deaths that were required of God to completely fill up Israel's sins against Him and His servants were completed. The martyring of His people by that OC enemy did come to an end, and the church no longer lives under the fear of their persecutions. Remember what Jesus saw in Revelation 6 9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been. God had a number limit on how many martyrs would be put to death in order to perfect all the prophecies, fill up Israel's sin to complete what was lacking with Christ's death and martyrdom. Now all this has come to pass when the Lord came against His enemy(OC Jerusalem) and destroyed that world in 70 AD when Rome sacked Jerusalem and the temple. That is when the number of martyrs deaths were completed and that is when that old covenant finally came to its cataclysmic end and all that was written in that OC was fulfilled. The timing of the coming of the new heaven, which is the new covenant, is also about the timing of the end of that old covenant, as the establishing of the new covenant is mutually inclusive with the removal of the old covenant.

Good work. Thank you. I think there are two things that help shed light on this passage 1. The "telescoping" of prophecy. Like you stretch out a telescope and you get multiple rings, so also with prophecy, you get repeated cycles along the same pattern. There are many examples but I want to keep this comment short. 2. The disciples in Matthew 24 were shocked by Jesus statement in verse 2 about the temple, so they asked him:“Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” They thought they were asking one question, because to them the cataclysmic event of the destruction of the temple (happened in AD70) couldn't just occur alone, and history just keep going. They thought it would also usher in the second coming, end of the world, judgment day, etc.. Jesus knew they were asking two questions, and he answered both: A. Gospel spread to the entire world, hardship and famine, Jewish rebellion, Temple destruction, large scale Roman persecution (happened in their generation), and B. Global spread of the gospel, World wars, Temple rebuilding, anti-christ sitting in it and declaring himself to be divine, then re-destruction, hardship and persecution of all believers on a massive scale (yet to happen, but along the same pattern as the previous"ring" of the telescope ). So the Lord was not confused , obviously. Were the disciples confused? They wrote faithfully what they heard. They understood of it what they could, just like we understand of the future prophecies what we can, with our limited human knowledge. So did Jesus prophecies in Mat 24 come true or are they yet to happen? The answer is yes

What is the mark of the beast? Seriously, can you explain to me what is meant by mark, name, and number of the beast?
@allthingsbing1295Ай бұрын
Absolutely! I would say where else in the Bible do we see 666 mentioned? 666 is the amount of tribute that Solomon received yearly. Man was created on day 6. 666 in Hebrew thought would represent mankind at its best which is seen in Solomon’s case and yet we see what happened to him he ended up turning away from God and worshipping the gods of all his foreign wives. We are told in revelation 13:18 that it’s the number of man. That word “anthropos” can mean mankind as well. It is not limited to a specific individual. Some translations say it’s the number of man rather than “a man” Where are the Israelites told to keep the law written? On their head and their hands. (Deut 6:6-9) Since the New Testament was written primarily TO first century Jews we must keep in mind what they would have thought about when reading the words. And we must let scripture interpret scripture. I would propose that the mark of the beast is the law. In Paul’s day the judaizers were persecuting the Christians and trying to get them to go back to the law after Christ had already been crucified and risen as the ultimate anti type for all the types in the Old Testament. He was the ultimate fulfillment and these people were still wanting to go back to the law! It is much like in the first exodus the people started grumbling and wanting to go back to Egypt instead of trusting God to get them to the promised land. I don’t think we need to be too worried in 2024 about taking some physical mark that dooms us to hell. Although we can still learn from Solomon’s mistakes and keep our focus on living for Christ instead of our own desires. I hope this helps.

@kristinbingamon568Ай бұрын
Wow those are big questions. I can just give you my thoughts. I used to think of saved vs unsaved differently than I do since I have come to view all Bible prophecy as being fulfilled. When I think of being saved now, I think of it as being in the new covenant. So for me, unsaved would be either insisting on remaining in the old covenant or refusing to enter the new covenant of Grace. It’s not about doing a list of things and trying to make sure you have every box checked it’s more about being in a relationship with someone who loves you and you love them. We don’t have to be perfect because Christ is our righteousness and perfection but if we love him, we won’t be intentionally trying to hurt him. I don’t know if that makes sense? As far as Solomon when I think about his life, he started off well, and then he was led astray to worshiping other gods and I don’t see any evidence from the Bible that he changed his ways. But Jesus had grace and mercy for the thief next to him on the cross as long as we are alive, it’s not too late to have a relationship with Jesus.

I have watched the whole video because of your suggestion on a previous comment of mine. I have actually tried to comment several times on this one but they are all deleted presumably by the platform. No idea why, but I wanted to try one last time! Its about “This generation” and the son of man coming on the clouds. I actually have much to say on this topic but I only want to consider one aspect of it and would like to hear how you respond. As you mention here, you believe this was fulfilled and the “this generation” of Matthew 24 saw that. Here is a problem as I see it. By the time John wrote Revelation in about 95 AD, those disciples of “this generation” were gone. For emphasis, in your opinion “this generation” saw the coming of the son of man on the clouds and passed away and thus its fulfilled. For anyone reading thats unfamiliar, Its Jesus Himself discussing “this generation” and the “son of man coming in the clouds.” Now consider Revelation written like 40 years later after “this generation” is gone. Matthew quotes Jesus’ own words in Matthew 24. Revelation is different. Its the Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave into him. A very significant difference rendering Revelation very unique and special. Why? Because in essence we can consider it all Jesus “speaking” in total. And in Revelation chapter 1 the events of the book are yet future per Jesus Himself. One of the things described as being yet future is Jesus coming on the clouds as the son of man. Written in 95 AD after “this generation” was gone. After the temple was destroyed in 70 AD. One more quick point: ISA 19 was written in 700 BC. It hasn’t been fulfilled yet. Very interested in your thoughts.

I will make you a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth. And the men who transgressed my covenant and did not keep the terms of the covenant that they made before me, I will make them like the calf that they cut in two and passed between its parts- the officials of Judah, the officials of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, the priests, and all the people of the land who passed between the parts of the calf. And I will give them into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of those who seek their lives. Their dead bodies shall be food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth. And Zedekiah king of Judah and his officials I will give into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of those who seek their lives, into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon which has withdrawn from you. Behold, I will command, declares the LORD, and will bring them back to this city. And they will fight against it and take it and burn it with fire. I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without inhabitant.” - Jeremiah 34:17-22 It’s not a wonder, Jesus speaking by the same Spirit draws from these things. The EARTH was the peoples of Edom, who were to hear this prophecy against them. God was angry with them and this was their warning of the coming destruction (“the day of the Lord’s vengeance”). This prophecy was not intended or designed to be heard and attended to by peoples of other lands. The HEAVENS that would be “dissolved” and “rolled together” (like a discarded scroll of parchment), were the political/religious authorities of Edom - its government and armies and those who led that nation away from God’s path (v.2.). God’s bloody sword would be bathed in HEAVEN. The symbol is explained within that very passage in verse 5: “it shall come down upon Idumea.” God’s sword was not bloodied in God’s own heavenly spiritual realm, but rather in the “heaven” that was the worldly realm of the Edomite leaders. end quote

I commented on a recent video and you asked me to check this one out and this falls in line with what I said about Christians attempting creative ways to resolve the issue. Some of the list was vague enough that even you caught that it was happening today as well. While the temple was considered destroyed, part of the west wall did not get destroyed. Many scholars believe the Gospels were written after the destruction of the temple. The evidence used is Mark 13 where Jesus predicts such destruction. It is believed that Jesus predictions were placed in the writings after the events had occurred. This puts Mark's Gospel near 70a.d.. Since Matthew and Luke relied on Mark's Gospel as a source, they would have to be later than Mark's Gospel. I think my point is that when you consider the New Testament as a whole as well as external factors, it becomes harder and harder to know the actual facts or even the accuracy of the writers actually quoting Jesus verbatim. Why does Matthew and Luke rely on Mark's writings? Why does Mark's writings rely on what Peter told Mark? Why do all of the New Testament writers rely and borrow verses from the Old Testament or more specifically the Greek translated Old Testament called the Septuagint? Like I said, Christians come up with all kinds of creative ways to resolve the many issues with the bible, but they usually require a squinting of the eyes and ignoring other parts to make their solutions appear valid. As a result, we are left with many different understandings, which leads to many different denominations and two different bibles, one with 73 books and one with 66 books, not to mention a slew of books that didn't make the cut during the counsel of Nicea in 325 a.d. by the bishops of that time. I wish the answers were simple but I believe there are things we just can't know and all we can do is speculate and attempt creative solutions to resolve what we believe the problems to be where if the writers were confused, the problems we think we see are merely the result of the confusion.

@scottguitar8168Ай бұрын
@@kristinbingamon568 I see many problems with the bible where a variety of different Christians offer a variety of possible solutions to resolve those problems, but never in a satisfactory way where we can all agree on the solutions. If this is the case, we are left speculating rather than actually knowing. There is also a level of trust that is required by Christians. You have to trust that the words attributed to Jesus actually came from Jesus. You have to trust that the writers are telling us the truth and nothing but the truth in order to maintain an inerrant bible and maintain an authority by God. The bible contains many truths and facts, that are either apparent or can be verified. However, there are important parts of the bible that are not apparent and cannot yet be verified, that Christians assume to be true and accurate and speculate on resolutions. It is here that I find skepticism appropriate and one possible resolution is that God and Jesus are the truth and the way but the writers themselves may have misunderstood some of the details.

The Jewish concept of ages is referenced in Sanhedrin 97A of the Talmud - three periods of 2,000 years (which Christians equate with Creation/Chaos covering Adam to Abraham, Torah covering Abraham to Jesus, and Grace encompassing the time between the first and second advent) followed by 1,000 years (the Millennium). Preterists / Amillenialists (ie. post Augustine of Hippo) think the 1,000 years is not literal. Per the Pharisaical lunar currently used by the Jews we are now in the year 5784, however according to the Enochian / Essene / Dead Sea Scrolls solar calendar we are in the year 5949 (Pharisees were called 'Children of Darkness' because they adopted a lunar calendar after the Babylonian Exile while the Essenes / Zadok Priests maintained the original). Therefore the final Jubilee of the last age (Torah) per the solar calendar was 25AD to 75AD - the first advent period culminating in the destruction of the temple - and the final Jubilee of our age (Grace) begins in 2025 and will end in 2075. This does not mean that Jesus will come back at a set time but it can be argued that we are in or approaching the era marked for the fulfilment of outstanding prophecies regarding Israel. A red heifer will likely be sacrificed very soon to resume temple service so exciting times are imminent. People who teach that the Church replaces Israel are Supersessionists, an idea that dates to the second century and is in conflict with Romans 10/11. Israel (God's Fig Tree) was restored in 1948 in fulfillment of prophecy so it's quite possible that's the start of the generation that Jesus is referencing in Matthew 24, but perhaps not. That's not to say Israel is presently doing anything accretive to humanity at the moment - they are still blinded for having rejected Messiah - but they are marked as the eventual instrument of establishing God's Kingdom on Earth according to the prophets (after the Day of the Lord / Tribulation). The good news is...none of this has anything to do whatsoever with determining salvation promised to believers.

The war began in the summer of 66 AD and was led by Nero Caesar, then in 68 AD, Nero committed suicide. Nero's death caused a ceasefire in the war and Rome retreated until they could sort out a new leader. Nero was the sixth king of revelation and after he died a seventh king by the name of Galba took the throne of Rome. Galba remained 'only a little while' on the throne, (seven months), and then the eighth king 'Otho' took the throne after Galba. During this Pax Romana when the Roman army retreated from the walls of Jerusalem, the elect fleed from the city and went to a place called Pella which was away from the destructions that were coming on Jerusalem. Revelation 12:6 Then the woman(Church of Christ in Jerusalem) fled into the wilderness(Pella), where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days. at the end of the one thousand two hundred and sixty days the war would be over and the church would be safe. as I understand, It was Nero's suicide that caused the war to come to a sudden stop that gave opportunity for the church to be spared from the destruction coming. Those days were shortened by Nero's suicide.

This involves the parable of the fig tree which involves the Jewish people being back in their land after being scattered to other nations and this happened and fulfilled in 1948. Jesus said that after that, the generation that wittneses that will not all pass away till all these things be fulfilled. In the old testimate it says the lifespan of a person is about 70 years to 80 years is a generation, then we fly away AKA our flesh dies and our spirit returns to the Lord. So at this point if you add from 1948 to 2024 is 76 years which means there is only 4 years left till all the things Christ said would happen be fulfilled. So because we know there is one week of years in Daniel's last week of years, this means we must already be in the last week of years and in the seals of Rev 6. The first seal has already been open and it was the covid lockdown mandates and vaccines, the second seal is War and we are at the doorstep of that seal to be fully open leading to nuclear war between communist and tyrant Muslim nations, Russia, China, North Korea, Iran and their terrorist proxies, Turkey ect against democratic nation's like Ukraine, Israel, NATO, U.K, USA, Taiwan, Australia and some European nations, basically the West as Putin has said. The third seal is famine and hyperinflation because of the war of the second seal. All this is in plain sight to see and going on in current events now so preach the gospel and help those in need like the homeless, food water, clothing, sleeping bags and tents ect, and prepare for the second and third seal. Daniel 9:27 a had to be fulfilled by pope Francis making his seven year pact with the United Nations climate change agenda, the pope has agreed to promote their pre existing climate change agenda to the whole world and I believe that has been fulfilled already. There still maybe a peace agreement that happens but when they say peace and saftey sudden destruction comes upon them and that would likely be the second seal of nuclear war which obviously hasent happened yet but in plain sight at our door step. 😮😊😊😊

@kristinbingamon568 I don't want to argue with you at all, I've been down that road many times, and it doesn't yield any fruit. I will just say that your not following the context closely and that's how people get false ideas, it seems to me you are following a Bible interpretation method that's known as almillienialism and I had a roommate that held that view many years ago, (I'm 65 years old now) and we had many many conversations and eventually he realized not all the prophecies were fulfilled in the first century because I shared with him a very indepth Bible study I had on CD-ROM called ("America The Babylon") by R. A. Coombs which takes months to go through the whole thing, and I give him much credit because he did go through the whole thing. Most won't do that, they just want to believe what they want to believe. Your not talking to someone that just believes in whatever the churches teach, your talking to a berean of scripture study. For example almost all the churches in America believe in the pre-trib rapture of the church and that America's destiny is not in Bible prophecy, both if these beliefs ARE NOT BIBLICALLY SOLID and based on incorrect Bible interpretation and research. Almost all churches in America don't believe that we are already in the last weeks of Daniel's years, the last seven years before Christ millennial reign, I believe that is false also, why you may ask? Because I study the scriptures daily to see if what's taught in the churches is true or not. I confess I sure don't know everything, but the subjects that are listed above I do know don't go along with the well accepted teachings and have been called a false prophet even a heretic at times. So I can see that at least your studying the Bible for yourself and that's good, but your following the same almillienialism interpretation that some have slipped into. Keep studying for yourself but always go back and check yourself so that you don't mislead yourself and others into false doctrines, I continually do this myself.

If Jesus was lying... it means he lied and let down all the people he addressed. The story of Jesus would not have survived this long if it was all a lie. Jesus was not lying, he came, the wrath came on them that pierced him. All to that generation. You mention Joel... well here's Peter quoting Joel: "These men are not drunk, as you suppose. If I may throw a few thoughts your way. Let us consider for a moment Jesus parable of the wheat and the tares In Matthew 13:40-43 and His following parable of the dragnet in verses 49-30. In both cases there is a gathering and separating of the evil from the good. Mat 13:40-43 Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, 42 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear. Similarly Matthew 13:49-50 Mat 13:49-50 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous 50 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. In both of these passages we see Christ sending out His angels to gather the evil ones and cast them into the fiery furnace. We see an eternal separation of the wicked from the righteous. If preterism is correct, and all scripture has been fulfilled, then why do we still have the tares amongst us today? Why would Christ, while ruling with a rod of iron, allow evil to thrive, as well as allowing people to blaspheme His name? Also, when we look at Isiah 65:20, we see that when Christ returns, our lifespan will greatly increase. If someone dies at the age of 100, they will still be considered a child. Yet today many are fortunate to live to be in their 80s. Isa 65:20 "No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; For the child shall die one hundred years old, But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.

Jesus said again to them Matthew 21:43 “Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. Obviously the weeds who are being removed from partaking in Messiah's kingdom in Matthew 13 are the OC Jews who are having the kingdom taken away from them in Matthew 21. The prophets gave God's message to the Israelites, So it was the OC Jews who could understand what Jesus meant by the 'fiery furnace' Did they think of a literal furnace that they would be thrown into bound hand and foot to be burned? NO!. Did they think of an afterlife experience of burning in a spiritual hellfire and being tortured forever? NO! They thought of their history as a nation under God. Deuteronomy 4:20 But as for you, the Lord took you and brought you out of the iron-smelting furnace, out of Egypt, to be the people of his inheritance, as you now are. They thought of how their ancestors were in that furnace of fire in Egypt as slaves to Pharaoh Isaiah 31:9 Their stronghold will fall because of terror; at the sight of the battle standard their commanders will panic,” declares the Lord, whose fire is in Zion, whose furnace is in Jerusalem. They thought of the language the prophet Isaiah used to speak of afflictions that would come on their nation in the physical world.. Jeremiah 11:4 the terms I commanded your ancestors when I brought them out of Egypt, out of the iron-smelting furnace.’ I said, ‘Obey me and do everything I command you, and you will be my people, and I will be your God. They thought of Jeremiah's warning of them going back into that same furnace of affliction as their ancestors were in while slaves in Egypt. But Jesus had Ezekiel's prophecy in mind because it was a prophecy that was about to be fulfilled in that generation. Once again OC Israel would go into that furnace of affliction and this would take place in 70 AD when the Roman army cme to destroy them and their world and whole way of life. Ezekiel 22 17 Then the word of the Lord came to me: 18 “Son of man, the people of Israel have become dross to me; all of them are the copper, tin, iron and lead left inside a furnace. They are but the dross of silver. 19 Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: ‘Because you have all become dross, I will gather you into Jerusalem. 20 As silver, copper, iron, lead and tin are gathered into a furnace to be melted with a fiery blast, so will I gather you in my anger and my wrath and put you inside the city and melt you. 21 I will gather you and I will blow on you with my fiery wrath, and you will be melted inside her. 22 As silver is melted in a furnace, so you will be melted inside her, and you will know that I the Lord have poured out my wrath on you.’” It is when Rome attacked Jerusalem that the OC Jews wept and gnashed their teeth in despair as they realized God had abandoned them completely and they were going to their destruction. The 'lake of fire', 'fiery furnace', everlasting fire, 'eternal fire' etc... are all expressions used that say the exact same thing and point to that exact same destruction. This prophecy was completely fulfilled 2000 years ago. The 'angels' Christ sent were His disciples and followers who gave witness to His resurrection to those apostate OC Jews in hopes of them converting to the gospel. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear. phesians 5:14 This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Matthew 24:34 is indeed embarrassing to those still trying to cling to a fairytale that Jesus is coming back in our own generation. The reason He never does is because HUMANS KEEP EMBARRASSING THEMSELVES. Jesus said He'd come back in the generation to whom He spoke those words. And He did. So let's just accept it instead of adding more embarrassment.

It's happening exactly how the Bible prophesied, if you understand the prophecies. With all do respect, preterism is certainly a misunderstanding of scripture and makes no sense at all. Preterism comes from a Jesuit!! Case closed right there. 2 Thessalonians 2:3, "...that day will not comw unless the apostacy comes first." Preterism is a part of the apostacy, just like the Church has taken it upon themselves to change God's true Sabbath from the 7th day of the week to the 1st day; the day of rest God established at creation. Satan has done a great job of deceiving Christians. Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 24, "even My elect will be deceived." Is there a cut off date by which you might consider that she may be right? Is it the day you die, which may not really be dying at all? Is it another thousand years? 2000 more years? Or what if the new earth and heaven are in a slightly different dimension and we are stuck on old earth, being the offspring of the few survivors who, just like bugs when a house is fumigated, a few always manage to survive. Even if that were the case, the Bible still holds true forever. It’s still the best advice for living a life on earth, regardless of which earth it is, old, new, abandoned or revived.

2 Peter 3;8 (not 2:8) is not saying we cannot understand the words God used to communicate to man. Peter is addressing those who were questioning the promise of his coming, because they knew the time was running out. They knew the time was running out because Jesus told the disciples that he would return in their generation and apostles taught the same thing. 2 Peter 3:8 is expressing that God is patient in that he waited until the very end of the generation Jesus said he would return in, before bringing Judgment against Old Covenant Jerusalem. In 2 Peter 3:1-2 Peter says that he is reminding them of what he wrote in his first letter. What did he write? 1 Peter 4:5-7 They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. 6 For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. 7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And 1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Was Peter nullify his own word?

But in the scripture 'thousand' is the largest number they had, so they said thousands of thousands when they wanted to imply innumerable numbers. And as you probably understand the point Peter was making is that it doesn't matter if a day goes by or a thousand years goes by, if God promises to do something He will do it and time passing does not negate that promise. Unlike us men who often neglect and forget about keeping our promises as the days and years pass by

@@ophiuchus9071 If God says something will happen within a certain time frame it will happen within that time frame. Peter was addressing people who questing the second coming because it hadn’t happened. If it didn’t matter how long it would until the second coming, then what would they question? Peter was expressing the fact that God was patient and was waiting until the end of the generation Jesus said he would return in so that as many as possible could be saved. The most terrifying thing about what you believe is the obvious lack of discernment you have from the Holy Spirit. Are you a heretic? You cannot just interpret everything allegorically or spiritualize scripture to make it fit your belief. I caution you to consider who is the Jesus that you claim has already fulfilled these prophecies. Nothing you say makes any logical sense and cannot possibly harmonize with what Paul and John wrote regarding the last days and the Antichrist. Josephus was not a prophet nor is he in the Bible, yet you are basing "your truth" on an historian who rejected Jesus as his Messiah. Were the people Jesus was talking to the generation to see all of these things fulfilled? How could they be. Israel (the Figtree) wasn't even reborn as a nation until 1948. Jesus mentioned the blossoming of the fig tree and coincidentally said His words would exist forever. Strange that the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947 one year before the rebirth of Israel. Coincidence? Maybe. Jesus also said you will not see me no more until you say blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. That did not happen in the first century and it has not happened yet. You have bought into a lie that will trainwreck your life and beliefs. Why? Because you have no Blessed Hope. Matthew 23:36Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. 37“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! 38See! Your house is left to you desolate; 39for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ The generation to see Israel reborn will see the return of Jesus. What is a generation in the Bible? 70-80 years. We are about to find out very soon if preterism is true or not. tick tock tick tock

The Bible also says in Acts 1:8 that Jesus told his disciples it wasn’t for them to know the date or time or season of his return. There are many prophecies about the return of Christ in Scripture that are fulfilled only in part but obviously not yet. Jesus ascended telling his followers not to concern themselves with when exactly - because the bottom line was “That Generation” happened in part when Christ died but in Acts 1 we are already see that Jesus tells them after His resurrection to not be overly concerned about when He would return. And He had yet to ascend. Obviously not only Jesus but all of His close followers realized that the Matthew 24 prophecy had not been fulfilled yet and it would not happen for a time - even after Jesus Ascension. More than one thing can be true at the same time. Matthew 24 is for the he last generation that actually sees Christ return and - the book of Revelation gives us so much more catastrophic destruction and even the elements of chemistry melting and burning up! This was not anything close to what happened in the 1st century destruction pf the temple. It can’t even be compared. Thats like comparing a gopher mound with Mount St Helena’s “In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.” Acts 1:1-9 NIV bible.com/bible/111/act.1.2-9.NIV

One thing to keep in mind is that in first John John says, “it is the final hour.“ Is it possible that at the Ascension Jesus didn’t expect his disciples to be too concerned with the timing because it was decades away, but as it grew near and near, timing became very important and that’s what we see in 1John? Also, I am just thinking about all the time statements in the book of revelation like soon, near, quickly, etc. I have come to see the book of Revelation as John’s olivet discourse actually.

The disciples asked...6 Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” if you look at what is actually being said it should be understood that the coming of the Holy Spirit upon them is how the restoration of Israel would begin and was a mission they would be partaking in once the HS came upon them. The kingdom was restored to Israel by 70 AD, but the restoration work began when the disciples received the HS and began doin the work of restoring the kingdom to Israel. It was their witness of Christ and evangelizing of the remnant that brought the restored kingdom to completion. The restoring of the kingdom to Israel took 40 years.
