I continue to be fascinated by the overwhelming negative reaction to this 'remix project,' which barely features anything of Gould beyond a few bars of piano music. If you don't already know, this 'official' Glenn Gould KZbin channel is owned by Primary Wave Music, based in NYC, LA and London. They own the rights to most of Glenn Gould's music, media, etc. They also own the 'official' Glenn Gould dot com website. Not sure why this project continues to be promoted here; I highly doubt the album is selling much. I encourage people to compare and contrast this channel, and the Glenn Gould dot com website with the Glenn Gould Foundation (glenngould.ca), whose mission is to promote Gould's legacy in a respectful manner. As long as this 'remix project' continues to be promoted here, I intend to keep calling out its vacuity and lack of any real connection to Gould's remarkable legacy and musicianship.
