Grew up on Deep Purple back in the day. First heard this tune on their 1976 'Made in Europe Live' album. Classic hard rock blues tune. Can't believe Glenn at age 72 still has the pipes and vocal range he had back in the day. Incredible singer and musician!

In the longrun this man is a true beast😈and even at this age no one has ever been so close to his original singing👌 I’m thinking that he never used any distorsion to his voice, is one reason, why he is keeping it still so clean, he use some serious reverb here but still… he is 72 years of age, and even got his longhair back🤘just that a very hard thing for 99% of ordinary man his age😊 The live version from the ”California Jam” -74 with Hughes and Coverdale together singing, is the original live version of this song in my opinion, Ritche dosen’t make it worse offcourse. But man this was good👏👏👏👏👏
