Whitby regatta seems to have known quite some development on what I remember of it in the 1950's when it seemed to be just a rowing race in the harbour!!

I took two things from this video Glenn, one I made the right decision on the week I spent there (no rain), and two, clearly someone has really fixed the black pearl since the RNLI hauled it back into port. Good to see Regatta, I havent been there on this weekend for years (my late grandmother forbade us to enter town on this weekend) owing to crowds, and how busy the town was.
