I have a 2021 m340, absolutely love it. I have all season run flats as well and you are 100 % correct they suck. That is my only complaint about the car. Great review.

Great review, just put a deposit down for one of these and I wish they swapped out the heated seats for cooled seats,here in Australia it's almost always hot and rarely cold.

It’s 2024 and I’m researching this car, looked at lease options and bmw corporate is suggesting $770 for a lightly optioned spec. Would have been a no brainer at the amount you got it at.

I always thought that the self driving option was so you could take off your cost while driving or turn around and get the child his toy so he will stop screaming type of thing where you need to let go of the wheel for just as second. I actually wrecked once trying to get a ketchup packet off the floor board before it went everywhere. Went thru a telephone pole. So I give the temp self driving thing a thumbs up. I also think that car that could drive a person home from the bar would save thousands of lives over time.

B58 and ZF is best of breed combo, for next car all your options are logical maybe for a twist get an X3 m40i for winter warrior and a brz for some fun track days. All your other fun cars are too nice for abuse and maybe the BRZ can do that job for you combine with X3at the cost of the M3. And maybe this could be your next video idea !

Got an X3 m40i parked in the garage. WFH nowadays so don't get to drive it much, just on weekends. For sure B58 and ZF combo is the best. I might go for a Taycan when all the recession and COVID dust settles ushering in the electric car age.

sold mine at the end of the lease to a wholesaler because I had equity. I believe they sold it to BMW of Bloomfield? but i am not 100% sure. This was in May of 2023.

I'm selling my 2020 m340i xdrive for 15k over the residual in a couple weeks and I will miss it. I work from home and also have a 2021 charger redeye widebody, I'm sure I'll order a G80 M3 still.

It depends. Do you prefer new or used? How important is a warranty to you? I new car will give you the full 4yr/50k warranty

@@GlennsCarCollection I’m not going to be putting a crazy amount of miles on it. Less than 8k a year. 30k miles prob leaves me with 2 more years of warranty. Then after I may just start messing with the car. My order should be in within 2 weeks though. New or used doesn’t matter much to me.

I am not sure. Leases are terrible right now. It might make sense to finance. You should be able to pull of a lease payment off the BMW build your own website.

Have a question for you. Looking to get a used m340i 2020 possibly but I’m not sure how it will hold up long term because I wouldnt be leasing. Buying a used m340i how many miles would you draw the line at that would be too many. Is a used 40k Milage or higher too much? Do you think this car could last awhile more than 5 years ? I know the b58 is great but it’s a bmw we all know they can be a hassle. Looking forward to your response

I think the car would be reliable as long as you don't mod it. I would shop 60k miles or under but it depends on how many miles you plan to put on it during your ownership

Yea bro I have a 2016 bmw 535i I bought it with 36000 miles and I have 58000 I never had a problem other than oil brakes and tires and that’s normal wear depends on how you drive brother these engines that bmw sell is very good if it’s a 6 cylinder or up they are demons these other people buy 4 cylinder and it blows like no shit if you are buying a 6 cylinder with 40k miles that’s practically new bro it can run another 150k easily just maintain it good oil change on time and drive professional and you will be fine never had a problem with bmw and it’s gonna be my 3rd car 2 a bit newer and one old timer manual

I think these cars will last forever if you maintain them and don't modify the turbos etc. Not sure about cost in Germany. Good luck with your search, it is a great car

Its holding up great. I love it, worth the money. Only gripe is I have a black interior and its really hot in the summer. I wish cooled seats were offered. the AC works well and cools the car down quickly.
