Actually one of the best Magneto figures in my opinion was the X-Men Vs. Street Fighter Magneto. Some of them had excessively heavy shadows painted on them, but I have one with very light shadows, and it is to me the ideal Magneto for a 5" collection.

I could see them using the Bucky Cap mold for a new Magneto (I believe that's the body they used on Archangel and Cyclops, right?) if they were to re-make him in the Legends line. I have to say, the bulk on the ML3 figure never bothered me, since the '90s cartoon had him as a huge, unrealistic muscular character. So perhaps that image is tattooed on my brain. Great throwbacks in there!

My favorite Magneto action figure when growing up was the 1995 Age of Apocalypse. Have a removable helmet, cape, and came with a transparent orange hand that screams 'Burning Finger'.

has Removable helmet technology gotten any better? because isnt that a risk to the paint quality of head and the head has to be scaled down to fit the helmet and the helmet has to be just a hair larger than life to equip onto the head? or is that an irrelevant debate? since they just need to sculpt a good face under the non-removable helmet.

The best Magneto action figure is the Marvel Select Magneto, with the head and helmet of the Series 3 Legends Magneto. It's an easy mod to do and looks pretty much perfect, but out of scale with the Legends line unfortunately.
