Mandy, we are having difficulty in getting this product to work correctly with the vent etc... it doesn't start to pressurise and count down the time do you have any tips?

I have one of these and I’m trying to cook rice. Every time the rice on the bottom of the pot is burnt. Why?????

It does leave a thin layer on the base, I call it the rice carpet, simply because it gets very hot. We find it gets thicker if you leave it on keep warm. Hope this helps.

@@Mandyglen Thanks! Yes, I just left it and the rest of the rice was fine. In fact this time it didn’t actually burn, it was just a bit firm, like it was fried. I’m now waiting for the poultry session and it’s going fine. Soon it will be dinner time! (I live in France and it’s 5:00PM here. And I’m old, so I eat early. 🤪
