Dirty I’m sitting down for my step1 on my upcoming bday dec 21 and I just wanna say that I’m currently religiously watching your videos because they’re saving me TONS OF TIME! You’re a life saver. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into your videos. It’s not lost on us. You’re helping thousands of international graduates who rely on a great step1 score to come to America and start fresh and new. Thank you wouldn’t be enough.

Can also use the COPS mneumonic = CNS,oligodendrocytes, PNS, Schwann cells

Oligodendrocyte and Neuroectoderm are both one word, Schwann Cell and Neural Crest are both 2 words. That's how I remember the origin of both. Awesome video as always!!!

Another fact is that a single oligodendrocyte can extend to 50 axons, but a single Schwann cell can wrap only one axon. You can remember this with "schw-one" (or probably with just using the etymology of the word oligodendrocyte LOL)

My guy, when are you going to start making CK videos?
@DirtyMedicine3 жыл бұрын
in a perfect world I'd be able to, but I just have too many topics to still get through for Step 1 / Level 1 before I can really consider shifting my focus.
@sleepytraveler3693 жыл бұрын
@@DirtyMedicine I get you, but now that I'm prepping for CK I've seen that many subjects are the same with a little clinical approach added, it would be great if you covered that in future step 1 videos, kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Thanks for the reply ✊🏼

@@DirtyMedicine Thank you for that and so much more ...staying focus on step 1, I personally appreciate that. I subscribed to a review program, they are still working on perfecting step 1 materials and next thing I heard they had step 2 materials. I was like wow!!!! I am grateful for you will definitely donate asap!
