Great simplification. So elegant. Thank you!! Never thought to use the multiple files column. Thank heavens for the array computational columns too. I think I would only use 1 button with a custom action and if else conditions to run the 2 actions… with a button title as a solid or clear heart. And thanks for the reminder that a list can use an array column as the data source.

1 button with custom action would also work. I chose to use two actions so that there was a visual distinction between favoriting/unfavoriting 😅

One more thing worth mentioning is that in order to "Append array", the array you append to must not be empty, which is not the case with "Make array" - it's more forgiving :)

I made some recursive recently in ai computed columns of editable notes which dynamically adapted to one another and accidentally generated tens of thousands of updates with only like 8 rows
