Glide Slope Sim For Electronic Techs

This is a simulation of an image array Glide Slope which allows you to make adjustments and learn from viewing the results. It's purpose is to be used as an instructor visual aid for teaching electronic technicians who work on the ground based equipment. visit www.electronics... to play with the sims.

I programmed the same software. You inspired me. I have a question how did you get the value sbo= 60mw ? What is your formula that you inject 3 w for csb and get sbo 60mw!

To get this narrow width(0.67°) with CSB=3W the SBO should be 180mW not 60mW.🎉

Sir what parameter will vary if angle .3 theta to .45 theta is coming non linear or invalid during air calibration. Kindly guide sir

Variations in the glide angle over distance will be due to the environment (we call that parameter "structure"). If consistent over time, it will simply be the ground topography, but it could be seasonal depending on your location. In cold environments, the ground freezing can change things. If a tree line is present, the leaves on the trees can changes things. Or even a body of water nearby with tide changes. I'm assuming we are talking about an "image" system rather than an endfire type. What configuration? Sideband Reference, Null Reference or Capture Effect? We can't make structure perfect but with antenna heights and phase adjustments we can usually get it into tolerance.

I've changed the signal colors but not worth making a new video yet. CSB: Green, SBO: Blue, and CLR Red.

+M Alves I plan on it. I just recently got my old Macbook out and updated the OS so I could create the required certificate for signing the app. Still working on that and how to get the FAA to pay for the $100/year Apple fee. For now though, you can use the Safari browser and go to electronicsimulations.com/ilstoolkit/ to run the mobile web version on your iphone.

@@edsandroalmeidapb5764 esse emulador é feito em flash.. E dá o somatório dos lóbulos e fases.. não é algo altamente preciso! Mas dá a resultante de forma didática! blz?!
