Glimpses of Mehera ~ Davana Brown

Davana Brown shares her experience with Mehera. Davana starts the talk by stating “It’s wonderful to be a woman in this lifetime because women can get close of Mehera. Men couldn’t have tea, or sit next to Mehera, or show you how to wear a dupata. Through Mehera, Baba allowed me to have a glimpse of Mehera’s love for Baba” .
Davana met Mehera in 1971 on her first trip to India. Her first meeting with Mehera was on the veranda in Meherazad. Devana describes Mehera as lively and effervescent. “ We wanted to be in her presence because so much love radiated from Mehera. There was a stillness surrounding Mehera because she had only one desire … to love Baba more.”
This is a very articulate and loving expression of Davana’s personal, first hand experience being with Mehera. Davana witnessed the stillness and tears of Mehera as Mehera described Baba’s beauty and suffering.
