Glipizide is a prescription medication used to treat Type 2 Diabetes. In this video I cover how it's dosed, side effects plus give you my overall take on this medication towards the end of the video.

I called my doctor becuase my blood sugar was so high and I was freaking out. She gave me Glipizide and it actually helped me.

Yes it helped me greatly, once I started getting low blood sugars a few times the doctor took me off of it.

I am 77 now type 2 and been taking Glipizide for 30 years. I discontinued it recently as I had low sugar issues. Immediate relief. My sugar level has gone up but will focus more on diet in the future. I also take 15 units of slow acting insulin daily.

I have a question does the glipizde affect the central tremor? And can you take Wellbutrin and BuSpar with it?

I took it and I experienced hypoglycemia, diarrhea, etc. so I quit it. I was successful with intermittent fasting and keto.

Hi glipizide is having me gain weight line not normal. I’m allergic to Metformin. I was 145 now 180 in 4 months and my A1C is 6.0

Question what's better the extended release or the instant release it seems like the extended release drops my sugar more throughout the day cuz it stays in my system longer should I just go with the instant release with that benefit me more

Mileage varies on that. Some people do better on one vs the other. I would be afraid to request a switch from your doctor and try it.
