It's a cool idea. need to be careful to not have to many cards you want to remove counters from since her trigger is just one target permanent. Maybe a few ways to give double strike

Really sick deck, Demo! Love the idea of looping Phyrexian Scriptures to ensure Glissa continues to get in for her trigger. Also super flavorful.

Thanks Demo! I wanted to build a Glissa deck too, but I was afraid it wasn't strong enough for my playgroup. But your video gave me some very useful ideas and I'm about to finish the decklist! Mine is more about deathtouch tribal tho. I started playing Commander through building underrated or unknown Commanders, but I started falling for more popular Commanders with time, so this Glissa feels like going back to my origins! I'm also building Moritte too.

NGL I was skeptical. I was waiting for the bread and butter of the deck with regards to the removal of counters. But turns out there is lots of fun stuff you can do! cool video! Would love to go up against it for sure.

If you're running Eladamri and Zombie Master, Urborg and Yavimaya help ensure unblockability, while also fixing your mana. Elephant Grass is another good choice, and Herald of Leshrac can be really annoying. I wasn't planning to build any new decks from this set, but I think you've convinced me. I'm a sucker for decks that let me play cards I don't play anywhere else (which is hard when I have 40+ commander decks and have built 130+ over the years).

Fraying line is my favorite card from that D&D set. So versatile and honestly kinda busted in half and a weird card flavor-wise: does it create a hole in the world that all creatures get exiled into unless they grab a rope? And only one creature can grab it per turn?? How does it work?

With Eladamri, the Zombie Master and Dark Depths (which doesn't produce mana), Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth seem like freerolls that just make things a little bit smoother.

Very lovely theme, though it does seem like there's not actually that many cards that benefit from counter removal. I saw a deck that also pairs the idea with negative enchantment removal - different mechanically, but the same feel of extracting value from your stuff without the downsides.

Would this work with more suspend cards? I'm specifically thinking epochrasite, not super clear on how time counters work but would I be able to remove them from the suspended card?

That was my initial thought too, but I don't think it would work. It says remove counters "from target permanent." When you suspend a card, you exile it with counters, and I don't think it would be considered a permanent while in exile.

No, cards in exile are not permanents and cannot be targeted by Glissa’s ability.

I tried glissa she kinda stinks, after awhile i went back to my bad ass commander girl meren of clan nel toth lmao. Also she doesnt need eladamri she already is essentially unblockable with first strike and death touch

You can do basically the same thing as infernal darkness with Ritual of Subdual. Makes all lands tap for generic mana. I'd also highly suggest mana dorks for this deck for two reasons. Firstly they dodge infernal darkness/ritual of Subdual, and secondly they can get your commander out on turn 2 if you play the dork on turn 1. Then turn 3 you drop a saga or dark Depths or whatever else and already get the counter removal train going. Oh and if you're running Zombie Master and Eladamri, I'd include Tomb of Yawgmoth and Yavimara as well.

I don't think those payoffs are that good considering that she has to get damage through to the player.
