I've started running Credit Voucher in my artifact recursion deck and have fallen in love with it! Having a constant "I don't like these cards lemi just shuffle them back and draw that many, oh there is my removal card." Moments are insane 😳

Terrible opinion for this vid. Decks do need to have a wincon sometimes, especially for decks that durdle otherwise you have 3 hour edh games.

Some really interesting cards. I like the symmetrical ones like Breathstealer's Crypt vs the single player target like Brand of Ill Omen.

Meh, I think white is the best now, with every release white is both getting powerful new cards and getting buffed in regards to what it can do well. Black just seems to occupy the same space it always has where it can do other things well the trade off cost add up where there are either no trade offs in white or even payouts.

Every few weeks I'll slot Brawl into my Mayael deck. That card is so fun!

Bounty of the Hunt seems like it'd work great on creatures that give some benefit when you add or remove counters from them. It would also be really nice with a Champion of Lambholdt, since it would at least temporarily make its power high enough for opponents' creatures to be unable to block creatures you control, which in many cases is better than just +3/+3 to your whole team.

i like bounty of the hunt for my Yargle and multani deck. a +3+3 for free to hit 21cmdr damage seems like a good deal.

Brand of Ill Omen and Braid of Fire seem pretty good together...

Power-creep is also related to Commander not being a competitive format, so WOTZ can design much more loosely than they do for other formats.

Check out 'Guided Passage' I opened it in a mystery booster a few months ago and haven't slotted it into a deck yet, though I plan on doing so soon. Its a URG ((Temur) sorcery that basically says have target opponent tutor a creature, land, noncreature-nonland for you. You literally hand them your library and say "Give me 3 cards, your choice." Obviously I don't think I need to explain that this could work out incredibly well form a political angle, or if somebody is presenting as the arch enemy and you need to petition a buddy for some answers, but the floor for this card is literally 3 mana draw 3 cards. 90% of the time, at least in my games, nobody is going to bother actually peering through 80-90 cards in a library to determine the worst results for you in that moment - they're going to look for a not-so-scary creature, a basic land, and who knows what else. The thing is, is that you really shouldn't have many cards in your deck that you don't want to draw into in most situations - otherwise you should cut those cards anyway. I can only imagine that I've never seen this card played because of its color restrictions, for one it can only go in a Temur+ deck, and for two you need 3 different colors to cast it - but its such a fun effect and honestly quite powerful for the cost that I can't believe I haven't heard of it before or seen it since I opened mine.

Actually I'm wondering if Brawl might be specifically good in a Taii Wakeen deck as a board wipe that could potentially draw a ton of cards.

Instead of Break the Ice I have in a pure black deck a Sinkhole, it is not that good but very special but then the deck is also only black Vampires.

With Bounty of the hunt, if you have Lea'zel then she put an extra +1 on each creature but at the end you only remove 1 +1 counter from each creature if it are 3 creatures the other stay for Lae'zel did that. Still not so good I think.

I'm running Breathstealer's Crypt in Zur, Eternal Schemer, since I mostly run enchantments with very few creature cards, plus he gives my enchantment creatures lifelink anyway. Brawl works great with indestructible commanders like Mogis.

Hey Demo I've heard you mention land destruction, mass land destruction, etc in a few recent videos now and i think a video talking about acceptance of land destruction would be great. With so many powerful lands and indeed landfall cards and commanders, I don't frown on land destruction or even mass land destruction for a good reason. But as you allude to, there still seems to be a stigma surrounding land destruction and the only way to remove that stigma is for people (and content creators especially) to talk about it

I don't get why Wyz doesn't nerf those cycles which came out bad and unbalanced back then. Force of Will is so much stronger than the other ones: would be nice if in the future they'd 'correct' by making nex similar cards to be integrated in the group.

Yup, self control is a thing. Commander in a casual FNM or kitchen table game with friends doesn't need to have the best of everything to be fun, IMO

Im using rowan with a 200 USD Budget and I’m seen as a not threat since I’m known as a Jank Deck Builder. :) soo my Rowan is under the radar for most of the time. 😂

The current custom card policy is to have the World Champion (?) pick from a selection of existing rares or mythics, still in design, and be able to tweak it somewhat. Then they get their face added to it. This was because people were terrible at producing balanced, interesting cards when asked to for the invitationals.

There has probably been a power crept version of Break Ties in every set since MH2. Even on a budget, this is a bizarre card to include on this list.

I am running book of rass in my megatron tyran deck, as i can produce tons of mana it can refill my hand to cast and sac more artifacts. It's actually pretty good

I don’t know if you’ve covered this yet but, Dreams of the dead, is an amazing reanimating piece that can work in the esper color range. Super underrated
