Make sure that your desk or shelf is made out of wood or plywood or MDF and not an Ikea desk made out of cardboard like a cheap door nice Ikea you out there if you don't have the pre-drill it won't handle the weight of the console

Those screws aren’t holding very well in any desks that aren’t solid wood.

I want to get one of these the problem is I don't have a desk Im planning on getting one, do you know how thiccc the desk should be at far as screwing stuff in, and also u guys should make some dust filters for the mount aswell it be cool

Hey there! Something larger than 3/4" should work! Or other customers have attached a small board under their desk if it's too thin.

Does the weight need to be distributed between both holders? Cause if i want to install on side of dresser in vertical orientation, will the one bracket be able to hold all the weight while the top one just holds the top of console in place??

This mount is only for Horizontal installtion! I would not recommend vertical installation with this.

How long are the screws?

The screws are 1" long, and will stick out the top about 3/4", but you could always use smaller screws depending on your desk.
