I mean it can get a little annoying, but its one of the best out of shield options in the game and he is going up against one of Bowser's worst matchups. Pikachu can literally zero-to-death Bowser if Esam can lab it correctly and can edge guard him. Bowser doesn't have many escape options outside of up b. Leon played pretty much as good as he could have with Bowser, I'm always so impressed by how much of a threat he presents to even very quick characters. His game and watch clearly isn't as optimized, but he had to try something I suppose. Also, I agree with everyone here, that crowd was the worst. It's a really volatile matchup, and that goes both ways. Pika is definitely tough to deal with, but more than with most matchups, a couple of well placed hits can even or win a game very quickly.

@@MrOfstring spacing is always important but when you can take 20 maybe 30 percent for using something not safe on shield its especially neccessary and I personally dont find it as entertaining compared to say Roy fox matchup or Roy Joker because its just more fast paced and less campy but to each their own. On a side note I think so long as a character has range or decent edgegaurding bowser isn't too big of a problem
