Now THAT'S art style. I miss the way SNK used to animate their fighters as 2D sprites (so much character to them), but this is the closest they get to that without having to cost them an arm and a leg. The cel shading in this looks phenomenal. Definitely harkens back to the old days, but with modern techniques. Might just have to buy this one.

Looking really cool! Smart input mode and a RPG mode. Even casual, like me have absolutely no excuse anymore. (Though I like KoF 2002 UM and KoF XIII) Edit: I even missed he mentioned AI genetated clones to fight against. Maybe something like VF and Tekken did with quest mode and super ghost battles. Really cool if you dont want to fight other players or Internet is not helping.

Which is probably why it's the most loved (?) entry. That line switch gimmick needs to stay in the past and never return.
