This was great, yes, +1 request for more glitch performance videos. Vocals, bass lines, percussion loops, automation, it’s all good.

Really clever way to work, make it easier to get variations without beeing stuck in your own loop. !!

FOR SURE! I look at these sort of projects like I’m building my own sample pack to work with. So then I can just grab the option I want. If you’ve ever worked in a restaurant, it’s kind of like doing prep cook work. It’s a little more work up front, but then you can just creatively fly through the project. :)

@Beau Tyler Makes Music Thank you again bro. This really helps. I would love to see more videos that show you how to make variations for patterns using Maschine. These types of features are what set working with a groove box apart from just working in a normal DAW. Salute!

Glad you enjoyed it homie! That’s a great idea. Let me brainstorm on how to approach it and I’ll get something going for that :)

Thanks for taking the time to make these! May I suggest you to start looking into Reaktor stuff for Maschine+ ? There is almost zero content about this on KZbin, and it’s something that could elevate Maschine+ to a new level. Peace !

@Beau Tyler Makes Music cool video, I'm new to Maschine and music creation so videos like this one are super helpful, thank you for sharing. One question: what is the stand you are using for the Maschine? Thank you
@BeauTylerMakesMusic Жыл бұрын
Yo! That stand is actually an adjustable speaker stand. No idea when or where I got it because I’ve had it so long lol.

When you play the length in 64ths it's actually a similar display of a technique used to detect planets in other solar systems because we can't see them visually. So we see the light or electromagnetic waves from the star and when that star dims very very slightly we know that a planet has passed between us and the star. Amd the next "length" as you call it would be time lapsed of a full orbit of that planet. If you equate the parameters of the wavelength to a sound it sounds exactly like a lengths of 64ths. Side note you might find interesting as a musician. Of you could create a sound of 1100db it creates a gravitational wave large enough to create a create a gravitational singularity or in other words a black hole or so the math says.

Great tutorial! That way of bouncing using the waveform icon in the upper right corner, is that possible on the Maschine Plus too? Is there a ‘bounce to pad’ or whatever equivalent to that software feature in the standalone plus?
@BeauTylerMakesMusic Жыл бұрын
Man I wish that was possible in standalone. Unfortunately it’s only available when connected to the computer. :(

Interesting, I honestly am not familiar with what your doing except that I study physics and what your displaying in a physical sense is how to manipulate the different functions and disfunction of a wave. Yours happen to be sonic where in physics we study alot of different kinds of waves.

This might be a long shot, but there is a contingent of us who are obsessed with that song you did that was used for the Zales Valentine's Day sale commercial this year. Shazam juuuust started recognizing it recently, it looks like, saying it's on an album by you called "Two", which I don't see anything about on any of your pages. Is this the good news we've been waiting for that this song will be released on a forthcoming album or should we start a GoFundMe to bribe you to release it, because that song is an absolute slapper.

The way you introduced the machine plus an other gear that you work with is so relaxing and so intuitive. Your grammar speaks volumes to those who is trying to understand a technical side of music.

I’ve thought about it. Native has two semi-new comprehensive videos on the workflow so I’ve been hesitant. However, I’ve been thinking about uploading a longer uncut video where I just go start to finish and include the entire mixing process. Then I’d just cut it up in 4 or 5 twenty-minute videos. It wouldn’t have all the fancy editing, but it would definitely be comprehensive. Would something like that work?
