Who ever hasn't checked out RinHara5aki should definitely do it. Especially his combat montages "Open Your Eyes" and "For our friends". Those two videos completely changed the way I saw and played the game, just by exploring the combat mechanics a lot more by using those glitches for more interesting fights. Strangely enough, it also boosted my opinion of the story in general. In my opinion, botw is missing those iconic music titles that make the story special. In OoT and MM there was this deep connection between very memorable music and the story. It's weird for me to bring that up, but those videos kinda gave me back this feeling and let me engage in the story in a way, that the game itself couldn't do. EDIT: I forgot to mention. "Legend" the cinematic trailer is also part of the reason why I have a higher opinion of the story. Check that out too.

I found a visual glitch, hold a small 1 handed weapon, make sure to have any shield. Next pull a Savage Lynel Crusher and ta-da your shield is floating! To get rid of it: unequip the Crusher or get another weapon

I am hunting all koroks currently. During these wild adventures i keep finding new glitches. Weather changing after finding a korok, physics trouble and one time a bunch of bananas turned into a bunch of bokoblin horns for no clear reason. The most fun was when i glitched out of bounds: I was searching koroks around hyrule castle town. I was around the pedestal from the memory cutscene with the champions but got ambushed by a guardian *and* a yiga clan archer. I hid under one of the stone bridges but the yiga spawned under it as well. His head went through the bridge part and when he hit me i got stuck in the wall. The camera started acting weird and i suddenly had full 360 camera control, despite being in a tight space. When i moved the camera through the bridge i tried using the sheikah scope. (Your out of bounds glitch from last week gave me that idea). I went completely out of bounds but quickly in bounds again. It was so weird and incredibly tense due to the guardian seeing me through the walls...

At 1:41 I did that glitch on accident and when I did it I took so many screenshots!! If you jump off the edge you fall infinitely and if you run out of stamina and use your sword you can’t get out. The only way out then is to load a past save file. I did this but then my file for screenshots got corrupted and I lost all of them 😪😪 I’m so happy I wasn’t the only one to find this glitch though!! 😄😄

The lizalfos glitch is really strange. Obviously, some part of the physics engine is corrupted, but the extend of the damage and its various manifestations make it really strange. My best guess is that the lizalfos screw up some really basic transformation matrix, affecting all physics interactions.

My husband accidentally found a hilarious glitch. Just outside Hyrule castle while still within the castle map he used stasis on a walking guardian. Without touching the guardian the stasis ended and the guardian sunk into the ground. He was able to do it twice successfully.

To explain the comment last week, firstly the Lizfalos Curse also has exclusive and particularly bizarre effects on Link's horse, which persist even once the glitch itself is deactivated. Secondly, I was making a reference to a game called Plants Versus Zombies Heroes, which features a character called Electric Boogaloo, who is a dancing zombie hero whose signature Superpower (a card called Staying Alive) causes them to summon and dance under a disco ball, before zapping a plant with electricity and healing themself, and their other superpowers are Electrobolt (which is just lightning), Dance Off (summons a pair of Backup Dancers), and Evaporate (which destroys a damaged Plant, and is present because all heroes have four superpowers and there aren't any other thematically linked Superpowers available to either of his classes). Incidentally, that game actually has some rather interesting and bizzare glitches, many of which have been patched, and also has a couple of really strange card interactions that may be intended but sure look a lot like a glitch.

I got one for you. The Legend of the Duped Shield. Load up on 10 3-5x bows and the Hylian Shield as well as a sword of your choice. Go to gerudo deserts great fairy fountain. Put on a bokoblin mask and head to a nearby enemy camp. Get the attention of all the melee bokoblins in the camp and get them in a circle around you. Use a shock weapon (Great thunderblade is best) and electrocute all the bokoblins. Steal all their shit. Go up and knock the archers down and steal their shit too. Once they are all unarmed drop the multishot bows. Then make sure they stay clumped together as that yields optimal results. Once you have done all that, just wait until there are a shitton of arrows on screen. Go into your menu and Link should be half loaded if done right. When link is just a floating head switch gear from the HS and your sword to whatever else. Pull your weapons out, get shocked and bam
