While this fleet will not be forgotten and be remembered, my 207/208 (one and only favourite of 106 older fleet) will especially still be running in my hearts as my brain can still function of my 207/208 while I am outside or onboard the trains, signalling the great times I and 207/208 had. Thankful for it to be the final SIE to operate the CGL (and of the NSEWL network) on 30 September and concluding this fleet nicely and smoothly

Aw man that means we can no longer hear the legendary sound it made bruh. I knew this was coming for the last c651 but i wished they made it go back to revenue service one last time before its retirement. But thankfully some cars got preserved

Sad that these trains retired. Love them for their melodic motor and their interior vibes, it reminds me of the era that is basically kinda gone, and also the early days of smrt. Definitely very nostaglic as this is also what the C151s used to look like before they were refurbished. These also have 9 seats compared to the usual 7 although quite cramp. To think these C651 may have live a little longer and not fully redrawn from service on 30 september if not for the derailment of 065/066 that caused the EWL disruption for about a week, some of even 1 may have been able to live through december and possibly 2024 to 2025😢. RIP C651 1995 - 2024, you may not be forgotten, also i believe this is the first time a train model has been fully retired, these have served us on the NSEWL for decades😔I wonder if its even a possiblity to preserved all 6 cars of a set in running order and sent it to be preserved idk like England like with buses or steam engines, it would kinda be nice Now left with 1 C751B train 337/338, even though its no longer running, i hope it at least get to see past 2024, although if not we might be seeing 2 train models retired this year not that far apart😔 Truly an end of a era😢
