I really think the boss would be more interesting if patches of pegs disappeared as segments were defeated. Would provide a sort of a counter to Electropegnet strats.

It seems that this version of the electropegnet makes the pegs fundamentally reject the concept of gravity and the laws of physics. "Ah yes, a magnet. Allow me to break every law of thermodynamics and achieve perpetual motion" - Every orb in the game.

They effectively did get it though, all that the room made them miss was one miniboss, but instead they got a ? which became a miniboss, so they actually ended up with the same number of minibosses and chests

Man… that room where you couldn’t feasibly choose to go left hurt my soul. I always look at choosing the path that gets me to where to need to go as soon as humanly possible due to how much this game can screw you when “choosing” levels. I’ve been burnt enough times like this to where I’m paranoid now LOL So like… after the very first combat, you blew up the bomb for funsies because it didn’t matter which direction you went yet, but you could have gone left to make getting to that elite path easier. It wouldn’t have mattered if the game didn’t slap you in the face with that one room, but the game is a cruel RNG mistress who likes to crush all your hopes and dreams.

I think Oreb would be interesting if it got random stats with each upgrade-for example, Level 2 might give it Multiball 1 one run, but Persist 2 the next.

What does Oreb do now? It doesn't seem to be upgradeable and I haven't seen any event interactions.

And purely negative ones possible as well, like self harm when fired, healing the targeted enemy instead of damage, or hitting any random enemy in the battle. (And list what its base effect is, too, since it's very common to get Oreb after picking Electropegnet or the like and not being able to observe the joke physics.)

I've done the resets are crits, crits stack. Also Gift That Keeps On Giving. It's _amazing_, particularly with the Phantorb - If I'd have discarded my first orb that run I'd have one shotted the final boss with it, and it was just after the final boss got its (slight) buff (from 35k hp per square and no rigged bombs, to 40k hp per square and a rigged bomb in the middle of each moving block of pegs). Think it did something like 500k to everything? (Or was that the invisible miniboss room?)

One thing I just thought of was adding block like you have in many deck building rouge-likes. At first I could only think of how to make an orb work for it, and then I realized it could just be another peg like refreshes or crits. Even if it didn’t give much block it could be very helpful for builds that haven’t gotten the healing they need, and make some enemies less frustrating.

Bullettes are the much more common riding mounts for underdark members that want burrowing than giant or dire moles, but mostly because giant moles were never reprinted and dire animals mostly dried up, let alone horrid moles

If the shield guys just took the leftover damage from their shields breaking, that'd leave them near completely indistinguishable from just having a bigger personal HP bar in practice, and would just devalue overflow and all hitting orbs/relics.

Oreb>Orebital>Orebtical Bombardment Oreb 1-3= odd physics Orebital 1-3= orbits a peg it would hit, passing through other pegs then dropping down Orebs each time it passes a peg or hits the top of the loop. Hits column Orebtical Bombardment 1-3= orbits any peg in it’s line of travel, as it orbits any peg that is passed (sides or directly behind) have and Orebital fired into their orbit. Hits all

I never play this game but always watch you play it, I have suggestion for your next run. Relic: mental mantel, gift that keeps on giving, matryoshka shell, and additional magnet; orb: all matryorbshka lvl 3 that you can get. The idea is killing with mental mantel damage.

Kinda wish they had a rock throw where you can discard up to three rocks a turn and it deals 10+10 for each rock discarded this battle. and orbsium killing things should totally just eat the creature and they dissapear, and orbsium increases in power :P Also, Relic awakening, where you put the relics on a altar as random event and it brings them to pre nerf versions where they super stronk Block boss should remove pegs based on which ones you take out, losing a block every time one dies

Just for LOLs allow leveled ups for Oreb, at. Max upgrade it should mutate to look like the Peglin like a homunculus, if it goes down a black hole you lose it, it becomes a secret boss fight of your shadow clone

I really wish they'd stop nerfing the fun things. Magnet degrades over time now, meteorite goes away after reset, waiting for when the ghost only goes through things when traveling upward just three times or something at this rate. x.X I feel like they should be trying to add new interactions between items/just new items in general instead of making HEAVY nerfs to items that basically everyone enjoys using.

I think oreb should get refined as it levels up. Level two is an ingot, and level three is a perfectly square metal plate. Or something like that.

Would orbsium trigger the fleece relic multiple times? It does hit each peg multiple times, so can it trigger crit pegs multiple times off the same peg?

I mean that does make the most sense especially since you know you you're a goblin so seeing what type of chaos you can cause and what crazy bullshit builds you can make seems like the most logical and I mean yeah some of these nerfs on some of the items just in my opinion make them not even worth grabbing anymore

How do you get your Orbs to bounce so nice? Any tipps how to handle them better? Do you do any specific touches?

The mole boss' tree should only have 500-600 HP, so you can actually kill it if you do enough damage. 999 HP seems a little much for a tree that isn't even the actual boss. Also, I wonder if anything happens if you push the Oreb into the stone piller? If not I think it should, like it gives an even better orb or something, as if it completed the piller or something.

Tbh having a game be difficult is good...this game in based on randomizes outcomes in a way so I feel like having this game be “difficult” is a challenge. I think there should be a challenge because if there wasn’t any challenge like having “a boss having too much health” then number one it wouldn’t be a boss...and number two this is a Rogue like game and you have to have things that put you in “Challenging positions” in game play to actually challenge you, the player. There’s no point in making everything easy, that’s boring. Magnet is one of those Items that is so good it makes the game boring. It’s fun at first but in the long run it will hurt this wonderful game faster the helping it. Hopefully we get more story and content for this game! I’d love to see this game go a little further then just a low key Rogue like game.

Too late :( I played the game yesterday for the first time and the pegnet is nerfed. It now stays at full strength for 3 seconds and then goes away for the next 7 seconds. Also, bombs no longer have a strong attraction, only refreshes and crits.
