@@Jamstaro1 it's in early access. I'd be very surprised if the devs don't have more zones planned. If I had to guess I'd say 5 as that seems to be the magic number most roguelikes try to hit.

on the idea of a ball that can grant others multi ball it could be something like the splatter orb where it puts multiball on a peg (with a higher peg count needed than the splat orb for balance), it would also allow for a crazy splatorb multiorb combo where durable bouncy mutilball pegs are a thing

I think the game needs more peg variety. Think of all the things you could add with it. You could have; healing, blocking, buffing, multi ball, triggering, changing, damaging, trapped, and so much more!

On your eldin ring point early in the video. I personally dont like to think of playing it to finish it. For me the fun in it is playing through it and taking my time and just doing what i want without woorining about where the full story is going. I was like that woth the dark souls games, only it was a bit differnt with them as they were alot more linear. But i think i have like newlry ten hours in eldin ring so far and i havnt even seen the first 'proper' boss. Ive just been running arounds starting side quests finding dungeons and exploring. To me its defonalty more of a gam ethats about the journey rather then the destination.

This was the first run i had that i finished with. It was hilarious, i'd be throwing out like 50 bombs or something since there were around 2 dozen in the map and they kept getting refreshed. This game has promise, i hope the developer adds at least 1 more world and more map/relic variety.

As someone who worked in restaurants for 15 years, your anxiety about that Caribbean place is probably unwarranted. Most likely they don't even remember you, especially if it's been a few months. Did you tip the person that brought the replacement food? If you did that, then you're definitely fine. Also, if you order again, you're supporting a small business, they're never going to be upset about that unless you're a monster that makes the sales not worth it. In the future, I would request a refund from uber eats or whatever so there's a paper trail if the restaurant wants to submit a claim. Edit: I just listened to the story again, and realize you never mentioned replacement food. My advice still stands in general, but since you went to the delivery place to complain, the restaurant probably doesn't even know the mistake was made. The driver definitely wouldn't be penalized unless it was very obviously their mistake. I've delivered with Postmates for some side money before, and I've had a couple missed deliveries but never got charged or anything.

You know what? Given how this game has incredibly creative peg boards but ends up kind of repetitive, I have an idea: how about this game ditches the roguelike aspect and goes instead for a campaign mode? This can give the developer more control over the game's difficulty curve and allow players to enjoy themselves at all stages in the "run" with a carefully constructed sequence of brilliantly designed challenges.

Ultimately rouge-like means a game like Rouge, i.e. specifically rng based levels with permanent death and the player gets an advantage through prestige items gained by playing the game. Maybe you should play Rouge, one of my all time favs next to Dwarf Fortress

I know what you mean but at the same time you got to admit there's some places that regardless you just love to visit for me because ever since I was a kid I've been so interested in martial arts I've always wanted to go to Thailand and see an actual Muay Thai boxing fight not the crappy Americanized version and I just always wanted to go to a bunch of Bruce Lee sites like the statue in memorial they have for him where his dojo used to be and stuff like that but at the same time I would also love to see really big tourist trap places like Graceland lol

I'm pretty sure bonus persistent damage is not increased by normal crit peg mechanics. This is based on observations related to echo damage in a prior build and at 40 minutes into the video you went from 794 to 1050 when crits are worth 6 damage instead of 2, the 555 bonus damage from orboros and ~111 bonus damage from echo chamber didn't care about the crit. 666+128=794 & 666+384=1050 so the 64 pegs hit got crit damage but the bonus echo damage didn't care. I think the multi crit artifact does affect echo damage.

Slay the Spire and isaac are probably the most influential roguelikes of the decade, rogue legacy coming third by introducing the incremental aspect. Slay the Spire and Isaac are simply perfect games, that perfectly accomplish what they have set out to do. There are many games that surpass those in a single aspect of their gameplay, but none of those games are as well rounded. For example, I do not know another card battler as perfectly balanced as STS. Most cardbattlers have to copy a LOT of the mechanics of STS, not because the Devs are being lazy, but because the mechanincs are so perfect that they eat nearly all of the design space. And where the newer games deviate from the formulas STS gives, they normally are worse games for it. Effects too broken. Effects too small. Too micromanagy. Too many inconsequential effects. Isaac on the other hand has the absolute best implementation of artifact Synergies in an action roguelike I have seen. Why yes, you can combine cyclops with the spoon. And Laser plus full Cat gives you an endless stream of flies. There are some games that have this too, but most are of much smaller scope. Interestingly, I think that Isaac 2 is not as fun as Isaac 1 is, I really liked the cleanliness of the room design of 1 better.

There is a tiny amount of content to be honest. If you look at the road map they don't seem to have much more planned for the game. No mention of new levels, and meta progression is a "maybe". I honestly feel a bit ripped off at $20. Like what are your thoughts about that Wander? You are one of the major reasons for the hype here.

Hey at least that place wasn't as shitty as others in which we've had a few food places to this especially when we order through Uber eats or whatnot where they don't put in the address right and even though they screwed it up they tell you if you want your food you have to pay again we've had that problem quite a few times not just with restaurants both other places like recently we got a new vehicle and we had to change Banks because the bank that we were going to close down because we're in a small town not enough people are going there to justify having it and the City Bank so when we put in the paperwork the guy at the car dealership was still inept that not only are paperwork but about 18 or 20 different people's paperwork got fucked up to the point where they missed payments for about 5 weeks from people and they fired the guy but do their own ineptitude they made everyone who had it paid because of their own screw up a late fees up the ass

Wander i worked in a restaurant over the pandemic. i grantee they would prefer to have your patronage than ruining that for something you couldn't control. Also the cooks that cook your shit don't remember nor care enough to have the possibility of the heath inspector ( F THOSE LAZY BASTARDS. If you get a bad one they will find the one thing that forgot that doesn't effect the cleanliness of the food and you where too busy serving 70 to 90 people in the last hour. Okay, I'm 15 minutes in and have no idea how the title becomes true.
