That part where the up arrow lights up is a little weird but the indicator for the elevators outside the car may just show if the elevator went up or down perhaps.

These elevators are just like some ones I rode on at the University of Alabama at Birmingham when I was there for staying the night as part of a trip I took to some sites in Alabama and Tennessee during a class I'm taking this summer down south in Jackson, MS. Unlike these elevators in the video, the ones there at UAB ran just fine.

It may be the proximity sensors and their code. The proximity sensors are supposed to monitor the floors that the elevator is passing or on. (I think... I might have mixed up the sensor names and uses, so correct me if I'm wrong) Anyways, it could also be the code that reads the proximity sensors's input and then feeds data into the indicators. One thing I do know for sure, though, is that it has to do with the codes that control the indicators and the call buttons.

I rode these back when they were Dover. They weren't that great. Also, I believe there used to be 4 elevators in that bank, not just 3. Oh wow but the Dover's cab's have been redone! Small improvement.

The call stations for the KONEs remind me of OTIS Series 5. Also, I think KONE floor indicators have always been ahead of the floors. Kinda like Schindler, except the beeps are out of sync.

This dover indicator if it was closer to the outter doors the indicator would break off and the bulb cover breaks and the bulb breaks.

Kone in my opinion seems to be the number one choice for modernizations, particularly in the Champaign area. The Community college I'm attending has a whole bunch of Fairhall elevators from the 60s, but Kone modernized them a couple of years ago. As for these elevators, ThyssenKrupp probably would have been better, but that's just my opinion.
