Glitter Application Timelapse: From Single Colors to Checkered

This video is a montage of timelapses that I've done to show glitter application. This includes various types of cups as well as various techniques. Wine glasses and tumblers. Single colors, swirls, ombres, multi-color ombres and even parts of a checkered cup.
I wanted to do this to show you various techniques in a quick look view. I hope you enjoy it!

random question...if my epoxy has scratches in it from sanding (just the epoxy, not down to the glitter), when I put my next coat of epoxy, will the scratches disappear/stay gone or will they still show once it sets??

The sanding scratches clear back up with the next coat of epoxy.

@@MinderellaCreations ok so it didn't go so well lol maybe you have a suggestion? I've epoxied this cup like 4 times already. I keep getting uneven spots/fisheyes/tacky spots. My ratio is good/measured/even, i'm doing it in my garage because I've already figured out my house is way too cold, it's on a turner..... after a bad application I sand and sand and sand, wipe it with alcohol and start again and boom, same thing. Any suggestions? Should I just peel the whole thing and start over maybe???

Jennifer Moya I’d probably start over if you’ve done 4 layers. Fish eyes can be caused because there are contaminants on the cup. Clean with acetone prior to epoxy and make sure all the residue from sanding is gone.

Have you gone to using epoxy only, instead of MP? I may try switching.

I use epoxy 95% of the time now...I have started base coating and using the epoxy. It's a bit of a learning curve on how much epoxy to use and to keep it from streaking, but base coat helps a ton. :)

What is the purpose of this video and it was put on high speed, could not see anything you were doing. It was like watching a movie on television on high speed and you missed the whole show

The purpose of this video I put in the description. It's a timelapse video...I shot timelapse videos of many of my glitter applications and did a montage of them into this one video. It's just a fun way to see all the different types of techniques I do and their applications in a quick view. I have most of these techniques in full length videos on my channel.
