If a remix does not add a new perspective on the original existing tracks, why bother? This is just a sequence of isolated existing tracks that adds noting to an otherwise excellent original mix. Sorry but don't let your fandom fool you: this is not good.

"If a remix does not add a new perspective on the original existing tracks, why bother?" if that's what you believe in, keep abiding by it. others certainly don't have to.

You clearly have no idea what the history of remixing is. Do you even get the etymology of the term “remix”: “re” + “mix”, a restructuring of the original track. Adding elements to the instrumentation is a new development in remixing.
