Another golden episode from the archives, great to hear big fun. Reminds me of hardwick live where the rain temporarily disabled the electrics, no sound, no light, no nothing apart from melvo looking a bit stumped in front of the decks. Then when we got back up and running, melvo brought us back in with big fun and the sound of the crowd was amazing after so many bad months with COVID. Big up glitterbox

The caller who said Optimistic was a US tune in 91 and his memory is from 95 is totally wrong. Sorry bud in the yearly Time Out votes from London DJs of numerous genres this was the best voted tune by a margin. This was huge in 91 and far bigger in London than the States. Maybe just an age thing but don't think this wasn't big that year it was number 1
