So many uses for this type of pour. The waxes work great on this resin and I’d most likely use embossing powder in those indentations. You can get really intricate with the powders and the fine tip embossing pens. . ❤❤❤ this jewelry holder. Should get this mold and pour some for presents. Cool tutorial. 🥰 That coaster looks great with the butterflies and resin coating over it.

Use a nail file to smooth get into the more fiddly areas. To unmold flip the mold upside down and gently peel the mold away from the finished item. You were a lot more brave than me. I’ve never used a mold that intricate with my eco pour of choice. She turned out really pretty. The bees wax works.

Oh how cute she turned out. I’ve used Aqua Cast, a similar product and yes, anything with thinner areas, I have learned the hard way, you must cure them longer. I’ve broken a few pieces myself. She is really pretty Michelle

Looks great. And yes, most of the waxes made for eco resin is made with bees wax. So, using it is a perfect sealant. It's very hard once fully cured. And waiting until the next day on something that delicate it a must. If you sand it, do it with water, not dry. In fact, I sand mine in the sink. It doesn't clog it. Weird fact: Yes, you can resin over eco resin, but you can't eco resin over cured resin. And Let's Resin has finally named theirs they now call it Magic Resin.

Interesting to wet sand! I was afraid of losing the blue marble effect. But I actually think coating her in resin would be so pretty because I love how the coaster came out!

Great idea using the casting powder. I love the shade of blue that you achieved. She looks like an ice queen or something 😊 I've never used that brand but I use a product called perfect cast that I get on Amazon. I pour those little gnomes and sell them with a strip of paints and a brush for parents to give to children to paint their own little gnome. They always sell out. That stuff is pretty darn hard. Harder than ceramic. Great video 😊oh I can't wait to get my new coaster mold from you😊i ordered it yesterday. God bless you.

I love working with this product! Beeswax works great. I actually make my own liquid beeswax with mineral oil. For delicate molds like this I also demold in a pan of warm soapy water. It works similar to how you spray alcohol into a resin mold to lubricate it. Love how it turned out Michelle! Oh, and yeah, you can add UV or epoxy resin to the eco pour but not eco pour to UV or epoxy. Although I’ve seen a few videos of people mixing them together. End product is interesting!

I love this Michelle! Esp love the glitz and glitter in the design. I've used various casting compounds for a while now- mostly JDictions Resincrete, but I just received Let's Resin's casting compound and can't wait to try it. I thought of three things when I watched your video: 1. I've tried EliChem's Aquacast too, and on their website, they have a "calculator" so you can figure out exactly how much powder and water you need. I pour water in my mold and add about 10ml to compensate for what I can't scrape out of the mixing cup, and the calculator tells me exactly how much powder and water to use. All of these casting compounds have roughly the same ratio, so it works well for all. (I tried putting the link in this comment but youtube deleted it!). 2. Jai Catalano has a great channel called UpVibe and he has one vid where he reviews 17 different sealants for concrete projects- it's excellent (and he's funny!) and 3. Steve McDonald, who you may already watch, does a really cool experiment where he puts casting powder directly into his resin as he mixes it. I've tried it and I works so well- it strengthens thinner pieces perfectly! I LOVE your videos and have finally had success with the crackle technique because of you!!! Thank you!!!

Such a beautifully elegant lady!🤩 she does your earrings proud!❤ I always find using fast cure mould fillers very stressful ! My heart is pounding trying to beat the clock!😂 I’ve made phone holders for myself and my late husband as I find resin tends to warp when at an angle with phones on them. 😬🙄
@glitznglitterbymichelle1 Жыл бұрын
Yes I had a phone warp too 🤦♀️ this one you have a couple minutes longer to mix than polyurethane resin. That one is like 30 seconds to mix!

I didn't know Let's Resin had resincrete. I call it that because I use JDiction resincrete. If you take a look at Steve McDonald arts and crafts (he has 2 channels) I believe this is the one he's used the resincrete on before. He's made a bunch of pieces using it like Christmas decorations, soap dish mold and the like. He's sealed his with different things but it will give you an idea about the hardness and whatnot. She is beautiful and love the color. ✌️❤️🤣 peace, love and happiness
