quick tip with tapes and anything vinyl... when trying to place it, put it on a piece of parchment paper (nothing sticks to parchment paper) with only a small corner left to be sticky. It will allow you to move and position it where you want it. Once it is where you want it, you can stick the side that is not covered and then slowly remove the parchment from below, pushing down from above to keep all bubbles out.

A tip with the tapes: I always just cut a strip a little longer than what I need, apply the sticker (starting from center & working out to either side), and then trim off the excess. That way, you never make a mistake & it's always the perfect length & shape. 🧡🧡🧡

Hi Michelle, I’m watching from the UK and have been following you now for about a year, I’ve watched every video you have made & have learned so much from you. Thank you for all the time & effort you spend sharing your knowledge with us all. A little tip for when you use tape, cut it a little larger than you need and once you have it stuck down where you want it turn your piece over & cut the tape from the back and you will get a much closer cut and neater finish. A couple of suggestions. You didn't need to cut the corners on the tape before placing it. Place it, then cut the corners. Also, if you flip them over you can use your little cutting mat and your craft knife to cut those corners off flush against the coaster. A suggestion for placing the tape easier - place it like you place vinyl. Peel back just one side of the tape, get it placed, then start pulling the tape out from under while smoothing it down as you go. ❤ I think the "flower" bookmark are 🍀clovers🍀.

So beautiful you are inspiring me! Tip for you! After taking the backing off the tape, put parchment paper behind it so it gives you some play with laying out! It won’t stick to the parchment but it gives you a safety layer!

Hi Michelle! Hate to see the lovely coasters ruined by the mold, but love the idea of the diamond edge coaster molds! Angel wing is pretty, wish there was a matching one for the other side! I would love to see the bookmarks. They are super cute! Dang, torn with the coaster issue. They are really pretty, but a new mold that is unique is very tempting. lol Regardless of what you decide, it will be great either way. Going to have put in a order for a pair of blue and silver barrettes with the sparkles! I love Silver hardware, so I am glad that you got those in. lol I really love the ones you made today! They turned out beautiful! And thanks for a new idea of how to use the dragonfly glaze…I have a whole bunch of them that I used on polymer clay pieces but I haven’t used them since I took up resin. Now I have some ideas, thanks to you 😊 Oh, and i think putting on the washi tape might be easier if you just cut a piece of tape that’s just a bit bigger than what you need, stick it down with the excess overhanging and then use a craft knife to slice off the excess. That way you don’t have to be so precise when you’re adding the washi ;)

Another tip for when you're placing tape down onto a piece. Use skewers to hold them. It gives you a longer reach, sometimes letting you stabilize your hands for better control, and can keep longer pieces of tape up out of harms way from sticking too soon.

Just a little tip.. Louise Singleton keeps all the little casting chips in a jar and add to a mix to make beautiful jars and coasters.She lightly sands down and it gives a really pretty effect. It’s got a name,but for the love of me I can’t think of the name 🙄😂 The coasters are gorgeous! I love them!🤩

You are giving me the desire to use resin Crete as it sets up way faster than resin. I have 2 cats and am unable to do resin. I do however do uv resin however I’m not able to do coasters and other things of that size. And the washy tape on those coasters was gorgeous, pinks my favorite color.

Hi I got some metallic alcohol markers from Temu, they were not what I expected. So I experimented with using them to colour epoxy - they work really well, thee come out looking lovely ke a mix of alcohol ink and mica powder.
