I'VE NEVER USED BLACK WITH MY CHAMELEONS BUT I CHOOSE THE DEEPEST COLOR IN THE MOLD FOR THE BACKING. BLACK IS BORING.😃 I LIKE THIS OUTCOME. THANK YOU AND WANT TO SEE COMPARISONS. 😀😍

firstly, those little ducks have grown so much since I first saw them… it’s really beautiful to watch them grow!! If you don’t mind me asking, what type of birds are those black ones? They are so cute! What a brilliant idea… demoulding it early and shaping it so it’s not just flat!! I love it, and will definitely use it on future projects! You’re flowers turned out beautifully… I actually loved the result from using white resin instead of black. When you said you didn’t have metallic green, I had an idea that I think may work for anyone in the same predicament (not that your gold stems don’t look awesome, because they do!)… but, if you take some green mica (or whatever colour you’re after) and add some mica enhancer, then paint that on the same way you did the other colours! I’ve never tried it, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work?! The mica enhancer comes in many brands, and has many names, such as diamond dust, Milky Way… the one I have is by Unicone Art and is called Crushed Crystal Magical Mica Pigment Enhancer. Much love from Brisbane, Australia. ♥️♥️🇦🇺

Those ducks are so adorable! I'm not sure how much longer they will stay around here! I'm not too sure of the name of the black ones, we always called them "swamp chickens" because they have feet just like a chicken but the bird is pretty small. Thanks for the compliments and I hope you try some of the ideas in the future to shape your pieces! I have never bougt mica enhancer now I need to look into that!! Thanks for the advice I love it!! Thanks for watching too, I was in Brisbane in 2001!! It was beautiful!

Looks lovely. I use white pu quite a lot, as I love the effect it has on some of the colours. That's a good idea to add movement to your pieces, I'll remember that the next time I use epoxy. Thank you x

You have probably figured it out by now but in case you haven't, you can take a qtip with a bit of alcohol and wipe off the high stops after you apply mica and color them with a darker color giving it more depth. Love this mold and the micas. You can also use those tiny bottles with the pointer tips and put different colors in small spots for more detail. I know i spend to much time watching you tube bit you guys all do such great work.😂

The large blue flower is called “ green blue purple” from Temu. I just checked. The link is in the description if you want to purchase them 😊

Great job !! I just wished that you reminded us of the colour names and whether it was the cheaper Temu brand or Let's Resin when completed. Can you tell me which one is that central flower that is a blue (slight greenish maybe ?) colour as it is my favorite & came out beautifully ! I am appreciative of these little experiments between using white, black & clear backing as its something I have questioned myself. Many thank you's !!
@glitznglitterbymichelle1 Жыл бұрын
Yes I definitely will do so in future videos! I will check and get back with you on that color of the large flower, It was from Temu. I used both brands on this piece though.

Yes that’s a tricky one! I’ve done it only a couple times. I don’t want to spend a lot of time on dive Julie is doing a good job teaching it. You will love doing resin it’s addictive 😁
