I love the Laura Mercier powder puff method! You did a great job demonstrating it! I was once an extra on a movie shoot and the makeup artist used the Secret Camouflage concealer, the one with two pans, under my eyes. I don’t know how she made it look like there was no makeup on, just brightened skin!

It's supposed to be a fantastic concealer. Idk if I'd want to blend 2 colors as a routine everyday step. Might try it after I use up my current tube of concealer.

I’ll have to try the Sephora brow gel. I love the Caviar Sticks and cream shadows as a one and done. With my very hooded lids it works best for me. I will top it with powdered eyeshadow sometimes. I was happy to see a video today from Alfeisty saying wines, burgundies, maroons, are super in for fall and winter. They’re classic, but I love it even more when the designers are on board. I love a good maroon with a cinnamon taffy pink. It’s a combination I don’t see a lot, but it works. I know wine 🍷 is one of your wow colors.

Those colors look so fantastic on people with green, hazel, or brown eyes! Blue...depends. Not good on me. I do wear berry lipsticks in the winter.

@@20thcenturyrelic I have super fair skin, brown hair and sky blue eyes and the right burgundy, maroon or plum are all great colors for me. I am a winter color palette. I don’t care for a wine colored lip though since e my lips are small. I can do it, but it would be best if it was a bit pearly or metallic. My coloring likes contrast.

The look you created with the Caviar Sticks looks great! Don't be afraid of blending it out with a brush because it works great. I'll never give up on my powder eyeshadows, but sometimes those sticks are perfect for a quick eye look.

Yup, Givenchy reformulated and created what can only be described as HIGHLIGHTER! My understanding is that this was the result of trying to eliminate talc from the formula. How it passed a quality check, I have no clue. I so hope that the Laura Mercier works for you because I absolutely LOVE it.

Hi darling Mary. I just placed a Moira order recently. I've never tried any of their products before. I'm dying to try the new mascara from Charlotte Tilbury. It's supposed to give volume and length. I love the brow lift from Elf. I have the UD Brow Blade. Not a big fan. The Chai blush is stunning. I like the lipstick, but I'm not a matte lip lover. The color looks great on you. Sorry about the Yensa Concealer. I used up probably my 10th bottle of the Evoluderm Micellar water. I usually get it at TJ Maxx or Ross. It's fabulous. I used up another Elf Eye makeup remover. Another Vitamin C serum, and a Makeup Revolution Pro Moisturizer. It reminds me of the CT Water Cream. Another Tretinoin, and another Rare Beauty Mascara. Thanks, Mary. Have a great weekend. Hi Mary,’ I really like the Laura mercier caviar sticks! Au Naturel is my favorite. I can’t even roll it up anymore! 😊. It’s mostly matte and such a pretty shade. Hi, Mary! I had the exact same experience with FabFitFun Thrive mascara! I, too, thought it was the tubing one. I'm trying to use it up, but I am influenced by your comment, "There are too many good...to keep using this one." Tomorrow, I will happily start using the next mascara that I have (I believe it's Maneater by Tarte) from another FFF box. I've been too busy playing grandma to be putting on makeup. I wish that I had the "glam-ma" attitude. I am commuting 2 hours on Sunday and helping out until Wednesday night, and then I am back home again until Sunday. I have multiple health issues (I travel with my oxygen for one), and the thought of taking off my makeup at the end of the day is too much right now. I always love the application process and how it makes me feel, but when sweet baby boy goes to sleep, I am done for the day! Have a wonderful weekend 💖 Oh! Where and when are you going on vacation?!!!

Looking forward to your LM adventure, especially with regard to the Caviar Sticks! Had to finally give up on mascara, since for about the last year or two I've noticed my lashes hide beneath my eyelid hoods, whether or not I wear mascara. The only time you'd see the mascara was when I closed my eyes. Now, instead of mascara, I darkly line the base of my upper lashes, and the line is actually visible with my eyes open. I smudge the liner and blend it into the portion of shadow that will hide under my lids anyway. Much less frustrating. My eyes are going to be small no matter what, but they get a bit of definition from the liner.

@@GlitzyFritzy I'd consider falsies for a show, if the character required it, but probably not otherwise. Your eyelids are very different from mine, which have always been hooded. My 80-y-o friend Tanya has eyes more like yours, and she still wears mascara beautifully.

I almost used up an Innistree toner, there was a tiny bit left but I just couldn’t wait to get back to Lancôme confort. I’m on the last drops of DHC oil makeup remover which I love. When that’s gone I have Colleen Rothschild makeup remover which I also like a lot. Also used up Erborian bb cream and opened a new one. Lately I’ve been using this instead of foundation with NARS liquid blushers in the color everyone likes but hates the name and Believe. I also use Velcro rollers and I learned a trick from Melissa55, like her I have long hair, mine is very fine and the rollers pulled hair out. So she suggested putting a layer of gauze around the roller first. It works great and my hair doesn’t get pulled out. Mine rollers are metal so I blast a little hot air on them to help give me some lift. Thanks for the recommendations. Be well.

I wasn't aware that the LM Caviar sticks came in matte colors; I thought they were all shimmers. I may try a matte one, although $29.50 is pricey for me. (And I noticed mica in the ingredients list for the matte shades. Don't know if that's matte enough for me.) I've also read that Givenchy reformulated the powder you were talking about - name escapes me. I don't know if there's a difference in performance. I don't use powder much so I haven't tried it, or the Moira dupe. I like the look you did in this video!

Second comment on the Lawless primer: I looked at the ingredients list and ran it through the ingredients checker on the Paula's Choice website. (I use that a lot.) I was guessing it had a fragrant ingredient that bothered you, but I found nothing. Best guess is that you might have reacted to the caffeine in the product.

The reformulated Givenchy powder is very shimmery, like the ELF Halo Glow powder. It shows every crease, pore, wrinkle, blemish, etc. If you don't like ELF Halo Glow, you definitely won't like the Givenchy reformulation.

@@GlitzyFritzy - At Sephora, they actually pulled the reformulated product from the shelves. The outrage over the reformulation has been enormous. I'm thinking they might reformulate it again to make it work properly. I guess the new Makeup by Mario powder is the "new" favorite to replace the Givenchy, but I haven't tried it yet.

Went to a Jefferson Starship & Marshall Tucker concert in Deadwood, SD I must say JS knocked it out of the park but MT was horrible! The loud flute & sax plus the feedback sent many scurrying for the exit! We learned a long time ago & still, with our earplugs were were cringing! The lead singers voice is so bad one couldn't understand a word even when he was just talking! Cute look & yes on the brow video!! 🤠
