They are probably just going to re-release them faster than normal, so global will get to summon for 2 new units on the first few banners after sync, that makes way more sense and would be a huge win. We wouldnt even be getting UI Goku for months from now anyways even if they did things as normal.

I've been playing Dokkan for 6 years, and this is the worst Global has ever felt. Emphasis on _felt._ And that includes the common droughts and predictable schedule (which had its pros and cons) we'd see back in 2018 and 2019. Even as a massive Gogeta fanboy, I want Teq UI more than the 9th anni LRs. However, now I don't know when he'll release, or if he'll release before he's powercrept out. Also, with the sheer amount of platitudes in this stream-Omatsu speaking English, the comments of praise from players, and the Times Square animation-it was obvious they knew we were going to be very upset watching this. And, as someone who's worked for a massive global corporation and now works for the state, the decisionmaking regarding the sync reeks of upper-management/leadership involvement, which would explain the nonsensical handling of this "unification of operating schedules."

TLDR of dokkan now. 1. Anniversary as usual, no major changes in banner or events. 2. Huge step up for anniversary banners. 30, 40, 50, free, 40, 40, 50. And in the last step you are guaranteed a featured unit. That means a guaranteed featured unit in 250 stones. 3. Nothing we already knew on sync. Sync will happen with WWC, and there will still be some unreleased units on global even after sync. No plan on how will that be solved.

It simply was never realistic to expect all the JP-exclusives to be out before WWD (which was thought to be the unification of release schedule, now confirmed). UI, Cell Max and Toppo and (probably) Jiren all in August? And then WWD end of August. Releasing other ways to summon, like tickets, couldn't make up for how many banners there would be, they wouldn't give that much summoning currency away. And putting them all on one banner is just crazy talk when that would undoubtedly lose them millions in revenue.

It was DEFINITELY reasonable to expect this if them. It was as simple as shortening a few celebrations on global and extending celebrations on JP by a week. They have done this multiple times in the past on global when it got too close to JP schedule wise which happened every year.
