The plot is amazing. As a writer I tend to interpret stories for themes (lessons taught) because stories are meant to teach. And man, does Reverse: 1999 teach. It teaches about morals and ideals just in the first 3 Acts.

Chapter 1 started out so good. But it got so much better chapter 2 onwards to chapter 4. I love that arc! 👍 That cliffhanger at the end of chapter 4 tho oof 🎉

This game is criminally underrated for how good it actually is. I’m glad tho that the reviews it’s getting are nothing but positive because it’s the best gacha game I’ve played in years to the point I forgot it was a gacha at all. I can’t commend them enough for how well they’ve done with this game and how amazing the story is. I’m so excited to see where this game goes 😊

Unfortunately Reverse 1999 isn't streamer friendly. Wish it was, but as with all immersive story-driven games, it needs to be experienced firsthand and at the pace of the player. Some cutscenes are pretty good though.

​​@@IdkAlcoholYeah, it literally has an intriging story which would bring a lot of content for streamers. Each chapter is 5 hours and it's easy to farm. It can easily be in a slot of a day of the week. Also, it's fully-voiced so it already makes it easier for Streamers since they don't have to read everything which makes it stand out from other turn-based like Arknights or HSR. Plus, the MC has actual depth to their character and not just not a boring self-insert. I can see it being appealing to a lot of content creators.

I've finished the story too, I just like the scene in the game of how Lilya just straight up smashed through the window of Vertin's room in the 4th chapter. I'm doing hard mode to get more clear drops and use them to get Lilya. Despite her being Russian, I kinda liked Lilya since the first time I saw the ad of her character reveal (that got somehow privated or deleted). but man this animation is great, they should make a full-on animated series of it.

So far one of my top 3 gacha games. Even surpassing big gachas for me personally. The art style, lore and story, world-building, voice-acting, and music are great. The combat mechanics are simple yet quite deep and intuitive. Looking forward to the future.

I didn't plan to play this game at first, but I keep hearing good things about it...tried it completely blind..and I'm now low key obsessed with it. I love everything about it, the Ui and art style is just gorgeous, it has a lot of love and care in pretty much everything, and the story just grabbed me immediately. Definitely be sticking with it for a while

i don't plan to play the game but since it keeps appeared in every media so i gave it a try. never thought that i enjoying the game. i think this is the first time i hear british as voice actor which absolutely fits well with the game theme. the music, UI, arts and pretty much every aspect about the game is amazing. the characters looks like a joke but that's what makes the game unique. A-Knight is one of the best character design. simple yet magnificent. creative.

I randomly saw this game on an ad and since I was pretty addicted to gacha games I decided to give it a shot and OH MAN was it the best decision of my LIFE! To be completely honest, this game does not feel like a gacha game at all due to the story it tells, every level and chapter is something new and unique that It was like I was like I was reading a book. Not to tell that the story itself is actually pretty good! There are some things that I think could be better but it had made it so that I'm well attached to these characters and I'm stoked to see more of them and the upcoming ones as well and how the story would progress. I really hope more people get on to this game, it is just so good
