Global risk report: The biggest global risks of 2024 | DW News

Every January we take stock of what threatened the world as we know it last year and what could do the same in the new year.
For 2024 some of the global risks are all too familiar, some to be expected, according to the Eurasia Group. In its annual global risk report, the US presidential election has the dubious honor of top global risk. Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza and climate change are also included for 2024.

Climate change can only be reversed by decreasing population of the countries of Indian subcontinent, Africa & the Middle East. Running after solar panels, windmills and EVs have good entertainment value and keep delegates occupied during non value adding events such as COEP. Our planet can’t support population of 8 billion. This was 2 billion a hundred years ago. Make countries that have galloping rates of population growth to enforce drastic birth control. Population has grown ten times since 1920s in oil rich countries that survive on desalination. That is absurd. Ignore antics of groups such as green peace and assorted free loaders like bogus human rights activists and get down to population reduction.
